Update::::This bento box was all smoke and mirrors. A week after using it daily my daughter had trouble closing it and the little blue tray falls right out mind you I’ve never put it into a dishwashers I always hand wash but yet & still it had to be replaced.I absolutely love this bento box and my daughter loves it too. It arrived on time before her first day of pre-k we are so excited to try this item out. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I love it’s durability and the fact it holds everything separately and it is leak proof it fits perfectly inside of her lunch box. I highly recommend this product for your child. Will buy again & again!

These boxes are easy to open and close for my preschool and kindergarten age girls. It's so great to be able to put different foods into the same container instead of all the little baggies and containers that take time to open and then little hands can't seal back up if they don't eat everything. No more messes of crumbs and sticky stuff coming home all over the inside of their lunch bag. Since the teachers at school have so many kids and only 20 minutes for lunch, it's great knowing that my girl can be self sufficient to get her food out and just eat, and not wait for someone to help her.Boxes are easy to clean, we hand wash, and it's a really quick to wash after school and then the box is dry and ready to load back up for the next day in the evening after dinner. The bonus ebook for lunch ideas is also very helpful. Having different ideas keeps lunches fun and appealing to kids.I ordered two different boxes and there was an issue with the packaging on one that caused the wrong design to be sent from Amazon (item mislabeling error). When I reached out to Kinsho to ask how I could go about ordering the design that I wanted, they were super prompt to reply by email and went above and beyond to send me the box I wanted directly at their cost. It just arrived with a handwritten note and they also sent an insulated bag as a gift. The best customer service I've ever received!Highly recommend this product for ease of use for both parents and littles. The excellent customer service makes me feel confident that they'd make it right if there was any issues with the function of the box, but I don't expect that will ever be the case.

I like the compartment set up and size; however, it is extremely hard to close all the way for myself so when I send this with my 5, almost 6, year old I have to make sure that it doesn’t contain anything that could leak or I end up with yogurt, applesauce, dip, or food in her lunchbox. If it’s latched completely it’s leakproof… but that’s asking a lot for a kid.The box is sturdy, cute, and easy to care for. Biggest complaint is that it lacks ease when closing.

Sturdy and easy to clean but very tight and difficult to latch. I thought it would loosen up with use but it’s been several months and it’s still super tight. Just remember this if your little one is responsible for opening and closing their own bento box without help

I really wanted to love this... we love the bento box style lunch boxes. And My daughter loved the design of this one, I loved that the price point was a little less than the other popular option.HOWEVER, after using the box twice, and washing it twice (washed by hand and dried by hand) the lid no longer closes correctly. It takes a lot of effort to close it right enough for the clips to close. My 3 years old isn’t able to do it which makes it a deal breaker.It’s almost like the lining on the lid that seals ver the tray swelled or changed form with the dish water enough that it doesn’t fit correctly anymore.So bummed. Ended up being a waste of money. Definitely won’t be buying again.

I bought it for a 3yo and it is difficult for the kid to close the lid and lock the latches completely. Otherwise it is a very good, pretty and functional bento box for small children.

It’s a good quality box, plus be slightly bigger size, price a bit excessive

we bought this box for our 5 year old. it has good storage capacity seals tight and most importantly is easily opened and closed by our child. It is also a good quality and anti slip cover and bottom is a great option. washes up easily also.

I bought two for my daughters' packed lunches and they love them! Easy to clean and the compartments do not leak into each other. lovely product
