This was great for the roaring 20s wedding theme, however the spats didn’t fit well over my shoes

The product itself is nice. As I received them, when put on over my shoes, there was excessive amount of material when Velcro was put together. I could not wear them because they were way too big. A simple fix for the manufacturer. Put the Velcro 90 degrees from the way it is currently made with 2 or 3 smaller strips. This way they could fit better.If anyone purchases them, make sure you give plenty of time to modify before wearing. I will do this with my pair. As I mentioned at the top, for this price, they are really not bad.

Cheaply made and doesn't stay in place. Spent more time adjusting and readjusting these than I did enjoying the event.

The spats are velcro down the inside. They look nice. I have no issues with them. Good product.

I gave it 5 stars because it is what I thought it was going to be, a cheap inexpensive accessory. I used these spatz for a one time 1920's themed party. I don't expect to go to any other parties in the future, and I wanted to spend as little money as possible. The fit was poor, they kept moving and shifting, and they did not fit my shoes correctly. But I knew that when I ordered them for $5. Don't order these Spatz and then complain because they are not as good as the more expensive ones. I highly recommend these for a one time gig. They are held in place with Velcro. You could add sticky back Velcro where needed to make them fit more securely. With some work they could look like the more expensive ones. If you need spatz for ongoing occasions and events then spend the money and look elsewhere, but for a one time or one time a year event then these will do just fine.

I need to modify these to fit a size 7 shoe as they are way too big. It should not be a huge job as have discovered that "Stick-on" Velcro is now available. Just need to find the time to do the job.
