Holds a lot of gas
Ha ha. Seriously, I turned the tank off and my stove continued to run for a good 3-4 minutes on just the gas remaining in the hose. It works well, and I'm glad I got the ten feet since I use it with a tree and don't want to have to put my lantern immediately next to my stove all the time. If you plan to purchase this, be aware that you will need to close the valve on your propane tank a few minutes before you plan to shut off your appliance. Also, remember never to disconnect a pressurized hose. Gaseous propane can freeze your skin. Allow the appliance to burn itself out after you close the tank valve so you don't leak propane gas into the air, or disconnect a pressurized hose or tree and freeze your skin. (Gloves and safety glasses are a good idea).

Simple and well-built
Very simple but well-built product. Ideal for connecting a propane stove to a tree. The hose came tightly coiled in the package. I connected one end of the hose to the other to form a large circle and let it sit for a couple of days, which took out much of the tight coil. I purchased the five-foot model.

Bought 6 of these. I'm a BSA Assistant Scoutmaster ...
Bought 6 of these. I'm a BSA Assistant Scoutmaster, and they are our standard issue hose to each patrol of boys for their camp kitchen. We camp one weekend a month year round, and if the stand up to the abuse eight 12 year olds can dish out, they are tough enough for anybody. Stoves get clogged, tank valves get stuck, but these hoses are almost never the problem.
