LolliBeads (TM) 20 Pcs of 80 Feet 1 mm Nylon Beading String or Knotting Cord, Assorted Multi Color

I purchased this to use for beading and it is way too thick. I can't even get it through a beading needle.. When you cut it it frays and it does not separate like embroidery thread. Its more like a lightly woven rope. It knots ok, so it might make nice friendship bracelets or be good for macrame, but its also shiny and slippery and it comes shipped in twisted long spools and is a complete mess to try to unravel. For the price I would personally stick with embroidery floss. I gave it 3 stars because it is not completely useless, the best use i can think of for this would be some type of school project like making a mobile or gluing it to paper in designs, but it is useless for what it is advertised for in beading. It will only fit on 8mm beads and bigger that have holes drilled on the larger size. Some of my 8mm beads got stuck trying to bead them, some fit. Highly disappointed and not at all what was expected.

This pack came with loads of string to use. I really liked that, but i didn't know how I would store all this string. A lot of it has tangled but I have been able to untangle it with some patience. If you are looking for some cheap good string, then this would be great for you, but beware for tangles as, for me at least, it tangles very easily.I got this as a present for my daughter and she loved it. She enjoys crafts and making bracelets, so she loved all this string. If you know someone who likes crafts and making friendship bracelets, this might be for them.My daughter loved the variety of colors and has made a few bracelets. (If you are planning to burn these to end bracelets, these melt pretty well but turn black which isn't so pleasant.) She is really excited to make more bracelets with more colors.Overall, this was a great purchase that I would recommend if you were looking for a pack of cheap string.

This was exactly what I needed and was easy to use.

Beautiful colors. Easy to thread beads through. Using a needle, I was able to make a macramé bracelet with 4 mm beads with this string. The string held the shape of the knots good too.

I would’ve given 5 stars if the wraps weren’t so tangled up but the quality of the string is great!

This cord is nice quality. It knots well and melts as it should, however as stated in other reviews this is very difficult to untangle. The "skeins" seem to twist and knot easily no matter how careful you are in unraveling the product.

Like the cord and color assortment. Affordable fir what you get. I don't like the extra fuss to straighten it out though.Even coiled in a circle would be better if they wish not to use spools. Having to steam each length in order to have a nice necklace cord without kinks adds extra time to each project.

I use this for Kumihimo braids and love the feel of the cord and the way the braid looks when complete. But... the cords come in twisted skeins and takes me 45 mins. to an hour each skein to untangle the twisted mess. All but one of the skeins were in one piece - one color was knotted together about a yard in which isn't really a big deal to me.

I'm using this for micro macrame and similar braided bracelets. It's lovely to work with. It's not as slippy as rattail and looks delicate when knotted up. I did try to melt the cord ends to seal them but as it turned brown when heated I ended up threading the cord back through the braid to seal the ends. Each bundle has loads of cord in it so this pack will last me ages. The colours are very vibrant and pretty. I ordered and it arrived next day. I will order the same again if I ever run out.

Great Product Better Than ExpectedItem arrived quickly and suits my needs perfectly. The price made me a little weary along with some negative reviews, but I Would certainly recommend this product quality is excellent and I would certainly buy again.

This cord is OK for plain macrame and for trying different techniques but for beading and what I want it for it is useless.

This was exactly the type of thread I was looking for! Stronger and more robust than the usual cotton thread you can get for bracelet making. The delivery was swift and I am happy with the choice of colours.

beautiful colors, good quality, long time I wanted these kind of cords for jewellery making and I believe this pack was for a real good price.
