I ordered this after spending ages looking at cam reviews and even on youtube demo reviews.The price was the deal breaker, the quality for half the price of anything that comes close, even the YT reviews of the C920 v this, this out of the box was a winner.The cam video image is fluid on 1080p & clear and can handle low light well, it can look a little bright at times, that's all down to your own lighting and reflective surfaces (you can change this via the settings), like me, if you have a large monitor, the screen can give off a lot of bright light which reflects off you. This is also dependent on what you are looking at, for example, on your monitor if you have a black wallpaper and a small video window open, then open notepad full screen with the video window sitting in front of the notepad, you can see the light difference.I've used it on skype, my partner then got one along with her dad after seeing the quality of mine via skype.My partner uses zoom for work, so far in HD and non HD mode, it was excellent quality (compared to the rest of the people she was talking to).I saw one comment saying you can't get into the settings, you can via application you are using (like skype - Video & Audio -> webcam settings, brings up the 2 tabbed cam settings to alter various options, it's best left on default)As said, 2 other family members bought one each after they saw how good it was on their end from my cam session.The fact creative has been around a long time, it's a known brand and there is a 1.0.0.5 firmware update on the creative website for this cam (under products -> peripherals -> creative live cam).One thing to bare in mind, you can put the same cam on multiple PC's and get different results, if you have an old slower computer then the video & sound process might just affect the output, whereas a fast running computer will deliver results as expected.

For the price point, to get a 1080 camera from a brand name I've actually heard of is fantastic. Works straight out of the box (Work laptop with Windows 10) and is great for video calls and home working. Quite a wide field of view, which I like. Privacy cap is useful, if need. Mounts nicely on screen and also has a thread to be used with a tripod. Great product.

I have been searching for a good web camera to complement my work from home setup and after going through reviews and YouTube videos I thought I would take a chance on this one.I always look to buy named brand tech and Creative have always been good in the audio department but I wasn't so sure about how they would do with video.I was pleasantly surprised with this camera. It worked right away on Windows 10 and I was able to use it on Teams and Zoom without hassle.My work colleagues have said that the sound from the microphone does make you sound like you are in a hall but they have had no problem hearing me and this could be partially to do with my office setup.The camera quality when in video mode is very good and works well in different light situations.I have not used it for stills as of yet.The mount is not spring loaded so it can be a little bit fiddly to get it right.The rubber lens cover is good for when you are not using it and when you are on a call and the camera is active the "Live! Cam" writing glows to indicate the camera is in use which is a nice feature.For the price I think this camera is great value for money and I was surprised with the quality of it compared to other cameras I have used.I have not tried it for recording videos or live streaming but for working from home it more than does the job!

Finally found a webcam from a known name and not at a silly, gouging price. "Just worked" on my work Windows 10 laptop with zero setup. Works fine with both Skype and Teams (don't use Zoom so cannot comment but can see no reason why not). Picture is bright and clear even in my slightly dim study. Sits nicely on top of the monitor but I just added a small piece of double sided tape so it's more fixed rather than just balanced. This is common for all webcams like this.

Good camera with privacy cap. For a long time I was looking for a webcam but unfortunately the recommended one was overpriced sometimes up to 3 times. So I decided to buy this one. Know brand, and I found that picture has good quality as well as the sound. There was no fuss with connections and settings. Just plug in and Windows do the rest. Works with hangout, messenger, skype and Microsoft apps. When camera works the "Live! Cam" inscription on the right side is lightning. Worth recommending.

This is a great camera with good true 1080p picture quality and works well in lower light conditions. It's well built and clips securely on to my monitor.

The camera works well under most circumstances, but it does not cope well when the room is brightly lit. For example, when its really sunny outside, the natural sunlight streaming into the room results in the camera struggling to deal with the contrast and the whole background becomes unintentionally white - you then tend to look like a ghost in your video calls!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the video on this webcam. I was tempted to buy a higher-priced Logitech model. I am glad that I didn't as the Creative Live webcam is a real bargain. (with a cap/cover for the cam lense) being a good privacy addition
