We have a wilderness area nearby that is fun to hike, but it is wrought w areas that our huge puppy could find potential trouble. This leash gives him the freedom to explore while allowing me to rein him in if necessary. It is easy to hold, and plenty long enough to tie a few knots in it to help me pull him out of trouble, and it is holding up really well. I purchased the black and silver leash and it is beautiful, really stunning. When walking in the neighborhood, I use a short leash that I love. It is short enough to train him to heel and keep him off people’s lawns. So glad I have both! Happy walking!

I use it to give the dog some freedom in the park. He's disciplined through indoor agility training and is constantly controlled during that time. But when we go to the park which requires a leash I snap this on him and let him roam and sniff at will. The grip end is covered with soft foam and there's enough stretch to absorb a quick launch at a squirrel. It's sturdy and light and I'll probably order another to snap on another 10 feet.

I loved the idea of this leash and the length. Thought would work to tie my puppers to the bed so he didn't eat the rest of the room. Sadly only lasted two nights before he chewed through and my poor dresser, clothes, picture frames, pictures died a sad death. Trust me, I've tried everything to contain the beastie but nothing works (he's going back to the breeder for various reasons). No damage to the wood bed tied -headboard legs are in perfect shape thanks to the handle and rope. This leash may work for those trying to use for hiking, seemed comfortable enough. I'd really hoped would survive teeth but sadly not so much. If you have a dog that chews a leash may not work for you. Not sure if I'll be able to tie together what's been chewed and stitch to keep using for another couple days or if have to trash. Was too busy cleaning up everything else to check. If using for the same purpose as me, get the cheeper training leashes (at least four) so can rotate and fix as use another. Cannot say how works for hiking but seems like would be good. This is by far the best leash I have ever owned. It's the perfect length at 10' to let my dog fly down the deck steps while I trail behind him at a slower place. Gives him e bit of room to run and play, but keeps him close enough that I can still work on training and commands. The leash is lightweight, which surprised me, but definitely sturdy. So glad I purchased this!

This Leash is what I’ve been looking for. It was quite inexpensive So I took a chance. The 10 ft Length is perfect for me. My yard borders on woods and Geno likes to explore a bit. It’s Light and durable. Geno is a strong black lab mix and when he pulls, the rubber loop handle is comfortable. All in all I am very 😀

It’s a sturdy, high quality leash that looks great. I like the soft cushioned handle. It had a strong odor when I opened it, but that dissipated after airing it out for a couple of days.

This leash is sturdy, smooth, and the loop is soft. It has given our 120-lb German Shepherd a little extra freedom, with safety, when we are walking in the woods. Now, we both are happy.

Looks well made. Very sturdy and heavy duty- bit it’s also light. I’d recommend more for med-large dogs.Ive heard a dog trainer recommend longer leash (not the stretchable ones) for dogs, give them more room to explore and sniff around. I like the length.
