This item is quite weighy, but very comfortable and relaxing. Certainly helps to relieve stress and pain in neck and shoulders.

Just fits in our small microwave, I heat for 2.5 minutes which makes it hot enough to provide relief to shoulder and neck pain for 15-20 mins by which point it cools. This means lots of trips to the microwave. If you’re looking for longer lasting pain relief I would opt for an electric warmer. But for short term relief this works well. The beads distribute evenly and there is no smell at all. It is heavy so not sure if this would work for someone frail, but it’s lovely and soft.

This heat pad does what it's supposed to do. It sits comfortably on your shoulders and gets warm in the microwave, as you'd expect.A few problems though are a) its too expensive for what it is, b) its VERY heavy, I am concerned this will worsen my neck pain rather than alleviate it (though maybe it'll strengthen muscles which could be a good thing - who knows?) and c) it takes about 5 mins to heat up in my microwave and doesnt stay hot all that long, so probably quite expensive.If I had my day again I probably wouldnt buy, though I can't see very many better options on the market, it's a tough one

This neck warmer was a gift for a friend however it’s too heavy for her and it’s too big for microwaveIt’s well made and strong though

Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and am pretty happy with my choice! The fabric is soft and it has a good weight to it. The heating instructions are pretty specific compared to other microwave packs I’ve owned (1m30s intervals only), and I find it doesn’t get as hot as we personally would like sometimes in the 4 minutes ‘max’ heating time recommended (but that could well be bc of our microwave). The seams down the back are a great addition to ensure the heated bits inside stay evenly distributed rather than falling to the bottom - I just wish these seams were also on the collar as it doesn’t really stand up by itself.TLDR: it’s a good heat pack and I would likely buy from this brand again in the future!

This is a really amazing product that has helped me so much when my neck aches from carrying the kids around all day. It’s quite a heavy bag which can be a little uncomfortable if you’re walking around with it but if you have some time to sit back then it can really help to ease tight muscles. I usually put mine in the microwave for about 2.20 mins which is quite hot but perfect if you can take the heat and it’s a great way to start the day if you wake up with achy muscles. The scent is lovely but not overpowering at all

I like the heaviness to it and it feels like the pressure releases the tension on my neck and shoulders.The one I bought has no fragrance and it does not have a bad smell. Results for muscle pain relief is better if you do stretching exercises before and after use compared if used alone. Never had an issue with burning it on a microwave because I followed the instructions that came with it. Knocked of a star for this "ease of use" category because adding another plate is a bit bothersome.

This is a pretty well thought out piece, good fit across shoulders, neck and upper back. Stitched pockets ensure heat is evenly spread and the beads don't all drop to the bottom. The raised neck collar is a nice touch.It has a weighthy feel to it, which I like. The heat retention is ok, no worse or better than my other 3 wheat bags. 3mins in the microwave giving 10m of good heat, and 5m+ of warmth.
