I’m not sure how accurate this thermometer is. I first get 99.5 then 97.8 then 98.6 all in the same ear right after the other. I’m usually around 97.5 so if I was really 99.5 that would be a fever for me. So idk.

I have three small children who don’t keep a traditional thermometer under their tongue well at all. We tried the point and click thermometer but didn’t feel it was accurate. This thermometer is just what we needed. They sit still and wait for the “beep”. The readings have been accurate and quick. It also has a function to check the temp of other items with a point and click.

I ordered this just before my cute grandson got sick. Thank goodness I had it! We were able to tell his pediatrician his temperature and get a diagnosis quickly. The digital thermometer was so accurate and easy to use.

Worked great the first time my kid got sick. After that it started reading really low. Said I had a temp of 89 when I was sick with mastitis! And said my not sick husband was 83. Between uses it was stored safely in a closet. I would not recommend this product.

Best thermometer I’ve owned in my adult life. Very similar to the ones I used as a nurse in the doctors’ offices. Quick, accurate, and easy to figure out. Worth the extra money.

I am a RN and unable to use. The reading is completely inaccurate after testing it. One reading showed a temp of 103 and the patient did not even feel hot, or restless with other vital signs stable.

This is a very sensitive instrument. I’ve found that when I use it in my ear without the probe cover it reads possibly a little high. Higher than when a probe cover is used.

I brought this so we could test temps of employees and guests coming into the office. It only works temp wise with the insertion into the ear, so you must change out the protective coating on the ear piece.
