Slips On Easily, Stays Put Even Without Screws
I used this to swap out our front door's 13-year-old, factory-installed vinyl fins, which were nearly worn to shreds. The old fins were part go a custom-made, snap-in strip that no merchant seems to stock. However, the M-D Products door seal made for an excellent replacement. The only adjustment i needed to make was to trim 1/8" off the length to fit the door perfectly (I used a Dremel tool to make the cut). After that, all I needed to do was slide it onto the base of the door and I was done. As the door is metal, I preferred not to drill holes. As it turns out, the grip of the channel was so strong that screws weren't necessary. The M-D seal has been on our door for more than two months now and hasn't budged despite being opened and shut more than 10 times a day.I measured the width and thickness of my door before ordering and would recommend the same to anyone else looking to install this product. There's no standard size for doors, though this comes pretty close. It would not fit our back door, but with the minor adjustment mentioned above, it worked great on the front.

Exactly as described
Sadly it didn't work on my door, but that's not the product's fault...nothing on my house is "normal" and I have been trying options. This product definitely would have worked if my door threshold was different and I have another door it will work on. Would recommend. It was easy to install and looks like it would stop air, etc from coming in.

Works Well; Good Value
Not exactly a high end item, but not priced as one, yet does what it is supposed to, seems to hold up very well, and has a relatively small footprint, so not very noticeable on a white or off-white door. You can always paint it the same color as your door.I did not use the screw holes provided to attach onto the inside door panel. Instead, I simply installed the screws out of sight in the bottom of the door, doesn't damage the door, and holds the piece more securely. Of course you have to dismount the door to do this, but was not a problem and took only a few minutes to do by myself.

Tight fit
I had help putting this on my door. We eventually had to removed the door from its hinges to install it. It fits very snugly because the crack under my door was not very large. Unfortunately that has led to the front blade tearing away after only a few weeks. Other than that it works great and looks great. For the price it was worth it... maybe you have a wider gap under your door and it will not tear for you. The important thing is... it has stopped the leak of air and water under my door.

These will save you $$$
We have double front doors and 5 french doors that open up onto our lanai. None of these doors had any kind of sweep or insulation underneath. I read some reviews and watched a video that recommended this product. These were very easy to install and make a tremendous difference in loss of cool air from our Florida home. You will need to cut it to correct length but it's quite easy. I just held if up next to the door bottom and marked both sides of top with a pencil. Put it in a miter box, aligned, and cut. They may be a little difficult to initially slide onto the bottom of a standard door but it can be done. I found it was easiest if I kind of pulled open the end closest to door hinges and pushed it up and onto the bottom of the door. Then I would work my way back to the other end. If it was sticking out some, I just used a rubber mallet to get it aligned with door bottom. We did have to remove one of the three under sweeps from one of them because one door was much closer to the metal plate on the exterior floor. I just used a box cutter to slice it off.

Excellent Product!!!
I actually bought a pair of this back on January 2012, which means that they have been sweeping under my front and back door for almost two year, and I have to say they fulfill and exceed my expectations ... Just so you have an idea of the use and abuse they have have to endure in all this time, our front door is always close, we are a family of 5, and the front door open and close about 35 times a day everyday (at least) and the back door about 15... do the math and you will get an idea of how durable this are...Installation is quite easy depending on your door, especially the gap between the door and the floor. It is easier to install while the gap is bigger because you just slide it under the door, but when the gap is small you may have to take the door apart install it and then put it back together. (I had one of each in my two doors).Today I am writing this review, because I am buying my second pair and been as good as they are I thought it was about time to spread the word. 100% recommended !!!!Note : In about two years I never needed the screws

Does the trick. Somewhat disposable looking though.
I bought a house built in the 1950's a couple years ago. The mudroom has always felt very drafty. This year in CT it got so cold that I had ICE forming at the bottom of the interior side of the mudroom's outside door. I looked down there and when they replaced the threshold, the existing air seal didn't touch. Ordered this, cut it to size with a small hacksaw, and it slipped right on. Makes a very tight seal at the bottom of the door. No more draft, and certainly no more ice. I bought a bunch for the rest of the exterior doors too. It does seem like a product that you'd have to replace every year or two on a high-traffic door, but it's cheap.

snug fit, snug seal
perfect product to seal the bottom of my double door front door. Makes a good fit, and sealed up the opening between the door and the floor. Easy to install. Screws come with the door seals, but if you are lazy you can just use glue and install it. The fit is snug so it holds onto the doors very well. Oh for your information, the side with the screw holes is the interior side. Also after installing the door seals, it was very hard to open and close the door since the initial opening between the door and floor wasn't that big to start with. To fix this I just used 2000 grit sand paper and sanded the floor (when the seal meets the floor when the door is closed). This reduced the amount of friction and it worked like a charm. I only sanded for like a minute or two.

Don’t measure your door in the dark on a Saturday night
It was great no complaints.. I bought this while not looking at my door closely.. it was also dark out and I was watching the hockey game, so it’s my fault it didn’t fit. It’s high quality just not for my door.

Great product that’s seals well with low drag
I brought this seal to help prevent water escaping from a wet room. It works well and still reduces the escape of water without making the door heavy to open.

If you have very little space under your door this sweep work’s wonderful
I have tried many door sweeps and all have been too thick for the doors in my house. I would attempt to install many other brands of door sweeps only to have to put back on the old ones because I couldn’t close the door. The other sweeps were too thick and causing binding. This one works perfect on all my doors. I have bought four so far.
