Have bought Astragalus tincture from a popular London herbalist shop previously. But with the High Street closed down + no ability to order, looked around for alternatives.Astragalus is used to improve immunity and (with that) energy levels. There are afew medical conditions that preclude use.Previously I've bought the tincture. This has a base of alcohol. That was acouple of years ago.With the current need to increase immunity (and a continuing lethargy), I've decided to try Astragalus again.This time round I've tried an alcohol-free extract.I've been using it a week + (again) I've found it very effective. While I can't attest to it warding off viruses or Covid-19, I can confirm the tiredness is gone + my energy levels are up.So why 2 stars knocked off?1 - It comes in a plastic bottle. There is no mention of the plastic being bpa-free. Confirmation would be reassuring. A glass bottle would be even better.2 - As there is no alcohol, there should be a clear statement as to whether or not it should be refrigerated after opening. While the listing says refrigeration is not required, it's the package you'll look at after opening - not the listing.But despite 2 stars being knocked off, I do recommend the product + will buy more when needed.REVISED - 6 April 2021I have removed another star.1-The dropper is not long enough. It goes just over 1/2 way.2-When you shake the bottle, the lid leaks around the dropper.3-The potency (+ effectiveness) is not the same as Neals.Unlikely I will buy this product again.

It, the second bottle that I bought. I like product generally and that I can give to kids. After receiving second bottle I realised that the first one I paid for 100ml but received 50ml and did not realised until it was all gone and needed to get more.Anyways, think it is good value product.

didnt do anything for me and didnt like the fact that you got a dropper with it but it was to small and didnt reach the bottom of bottle

Have always liked to use drops for supplements, medications, etc. because you can adjust to taste or required dosage. Highly recommend.
