Chloris-Organic Black Pepper Whole, 7 oz

I usually buy Simply Organic spices. But these peppercorns are cheaper and in bigger packages so I thought I'd try them. Well... I'll be getting my spices here from now on. They are affordable and high quality.Some thoughts on organic food and India:I also like the idea of supporting organic agriculture in India. India has a long history of making health-promoting healing spices a part of every-day eating, and I've tried to learn from that. Unfortunately, the American chemical GMO industrial agriculture of Monsanto has infiltrated India in recent years, with disastrous consequences. In response to that, however, much like in America an organic non-toxic food movement has emerged and has been growing rapidly every year. I choose organic food not only for my own health, but to support farmers growing good, clean, healthy food in a regenerative manner (as opposed to degenerative destructive industrial chemical agriculture). So I'm happy to support the Indian organic farmers who grew these spices.

This pepper is perfect! I typically buy Simply Organic peppercorns, but I thought I would give these a shot since it seemed like I got more for less and they are organic as well. The product arrived and was very fresh and tasted delicious in my Christmas Eve oyster stew.

Eating a lot of pepper these days, and this organic Whole Black Pepper is so much better than your average store-bought ground pepper. I feel good about eating organic when I can and I will buy from this company again. My order arrived promptly as promised.

Pepper is great! The expiration date is less than a year.
