Received this thermometer today. Put in 2 AAA batteries. The instrument works very well, with an easy to read display, and temp appears instantly. Highly recommended.

There is some confusion with this thermometer. First, the picture on the Amazon webpage does not match what I received. Pic shows 3 buttons. Thermometer I got has four buttons. The buttons are confusing without reading the instructions. The M button is power on/off. The - button is for settings such as body/surface or degrees C/F or beep on/off. Once you figure out the buttons, the thermometer seems fast and accurate. I like the size and price even though AAA batteries are not included. Note this thermometer will not work with rechargeable AAA batteries; you will get an ErB (error batteries) indication.

This thing is fast and reliable. Perfect thermometer to have around the house. It’s so easy to use and easy to read. Nothing bad about this product!

I wanted a no-touch thermometer due to the pandemic, so I ordered this one. It works really well once you switch it to Fahrenheit. Just press the "m" button to turn it on, make sure it's set to "body," hold it up to the person whose temperature you're taking and press the big button!

I was challenged with their direction, but finally figured it out. Accurate and quick!

Just got this and decided to open it right away and test to see how accurate it is. To my disappointment it was really off. Measure me at 34.6 degrees C and 94.4 degrees F. I've tested it multiple times (> 10) still get the same reading. The unit is really light, takes quick measurements, and design isn't bad but no use for me if it doesn't take the correct temperature. Hopefully I can return and get a refund.Update: Found the issue. As I was reading the questions and answers section I noticed someone mentioned that you have to make sure the setting is set to "body". The unit comes default to "surface". After making the change my readings are closer to my other thermometers but still off by .6F. Will play around a bit but have upgraded from 1 star to 3. Will this review as needed.

Very easy to use and accurate temperature! Love this item.

This product came in a crumpled box, when I used it and compared it to my old school mercury type thermometer that goes under the tongue I realized it was not at all accurate. I requested a refund and was sent instructions, it still wasn't accurate. I asked again for a refund and mentioned the instructions and that it still didn't work. They would not refund my money. DO NOT BUY this thermometer!! As other reviewers have said the customer service sucks!!
