You want a blade with that? It is NOT included
3 weeks since I got delivery of this saw. You must order the blade from them since none is included with a $1700 saw and it takes only 8 inch blades. Home Depot dosen't carry 8 inch blades. My saw motor came with a wobbly engine. When you put in the blade - of course properly and tighten it - it wobbles. I called and they asked me to go through milwakee's warantee. I am going there tomorrow and will report back. My advise, avoid this supplier.

Great Saw
This is a great product. Well made and accurate. If it had a blade indicator showing where the blade would cut, it would be a 5 out of 5 item.I addressed the concern to Safety Cut and their response was to offer to sell me a $200 plus lazer marker. Seems a expensive to me. They should offer a mechanical blade indicator.

Great saw!
Great saw for the money. It will allow you to cut a full sheet of plywood by yourself. The H4 is thousands of dollars less than a horizontal panel saw and pretty much does the same thing. The stand is a bit over priced but is surprisingly sturdy. The saw arrived in great shape and assembly was a breeze. Don't forget to buy a blade.

Perfect saw for your wood shop
This saw makes it much easier to work with 4x8 sheets when building cabinets and other things that require working with larger sheet material. It is very difficult to handle 4x8 sheets of plywood or MDF on a table saw, but this kind of saw allows you to simply put the wood on the saw and run the blade across it instead of moving the saw across the blade and a table as with a table saw. This saw makes ripping MDF or plywood a one-man job and you don't have to set up in/out rollers to help hold your wood. The saw comes unassembled but it is extremely easy to put together. I purchased mine with the wheel kit, the optional stand, the dust collection kit, the midway fence, and the 8' quick-stop gauge. The motor is not attached to the housing, so you will need to install it yourself, but it is no problem. The saw motor comes with bolts in place and they line up directly with holes in the carrier assembly. All you have to do is pop the bolts in place and secure it. You will also install the counterweight on top of the unit. This counterweight must be installed to the left or right of center to function, so be sure not to install it in the center. The saw is straight and square to 1/32 of an inch, so it will work well for the vast majority of projects. Safety Speed Cut makes a line of saws that (6400, etc.) that are true to 1/64 of an inch, but they cost about $1,500 more.Bottom line: HIGHLY recommended5/5 stars

Can't believe I lived without it!
So easy and accurate. Yup you must purchase a blade separately because the saw is used for a variety of panel processing applications. My workshop is a tiny 8 by 16 so I can't afford the space required of a unisaw or a big powermatic. The only other real option for me was a full blown festool setup. But with that said I'd still need to move things to cut 4 by 8 sheet goods. I borrowed one for a week to discover it wasn't for me. I purchased the optional stand and length adapters (which can be removed in about a minute) so I no longer struggle with space. So nice. If you're on the fence about this, pull the trigger and do it. Awesome!
