This thermometer worked well for about a month. All of a sudden it wouldn't turn on. I thought the battery might be dead (even though the product details say it should last for 1500 readings) and requested a new one, which the manufacturer sent for free. A few days after I replaced the battery, the display screen started flickering erratically; then the time displayed on the thermometer randomly reset to 00:00, which triggered the alarm. This has happened twice recently, waking me up at odd hours of the night.For the brief period that the thermometer worked, its 60-temperature recall feature was convenient. I'm disappointed.

This thermometer takes forever to actually take a temperature! It may seem silly, but it takes longer than a minute for it to finally read my temperature. Since you have to take your temperature right away in the morning, I've actually fallen back to sleep waiting for it to finish! Sometimes I wonder if I've pressed the button correctly for it to even start, but it just takes THAT long to read your temperature! Doesn't sound like a big deal, but the end is also really fat which makes it uncomfortable to hold in your mouth. I would not buy this again. Do all basal therms take this long??However, I do like the alarm feature. Not necessary, but a neat bonus. The display is also very clear and easy to read.

A little disappointed in this thermometer. Ive owned this for only one month and it started off great and worked well, but it has started to make a constant ringing noise even when it's off. Its very faint, but I can hear it almost all the time. I've noticed lately the temperature varies greatly. I will take my temp three times within 10 minutes (not moving around, no eating/drinking) and the temps will vary almost a full degree at times. I'm using this for the FAM, so accuracy of temperature is of the utmost importance!On the positive side, I do love the light up screen so I can read it easily and how it remembers your temps and the time you took it at.Just really hate that this thermometer worked very well for all of two weeks and now it might find its way to the trash can soon.

I really like this thermometer. It was everything I expected it to be. The light is really bright, maybe too bright, but useful when I take my temp before the sun is up. I love that it logs the temperatures so I don't have to record it right away. I usually take my temp when my alarm goes off the first time and then snooze for a while longer, so this feature is great. It was pretty easy to set up the time and date on it and the instructions are easy to follow. It even comes with a handy chart to track your temps analog style. You could easily photo copy it to have more records. I log my temps in the Glow app on my phone.

Several things I like about this thermometer as compared to my last one: The screen has a back light so I can take temp without waking my spouse , has an alarm feature, displays date and time, and has a memory so I can go back and record temps later in the later in the day, or even in the week if I forget to record. I also like the storage box. Unfortunately, the power button is very flimsy and has popped off several times in only having it a week. Its small and annoying to try and find. Hopefully I can work around the issue.

I want to like this. But it broke the very first time I touched the on button. The button popped out, springs and all. I put it back in but every time I use it, it just pops out again! unusable. I'm returning.Besides that, in order to change alarm, or turn alarm on or off you have to cycle through all the clock and date parameters, which takes forever.It also takes a long time to register temp.

It's a great basal body thermometer and I use it daily: it take around a minute, seems accurate, you can do it in the dark and the light is smooth for your sleepy eyes. It says you can record temps but I didnt manage to record anything hence only 4 stars. Maybe it's me but it means it's not easy anyway. Overall I am happy with it and recommend it

It does have a rather obnoxious beep to it that will randomly go off. And if you have a baby in the room with you while you intend to use this just keep that in mind. It is very nice to have compared to the other thermometers out there though.
