Needs some glue
Other reviews indicated this plane was super complicated to assemble but with the detailed instructions, which we found to be better than LEGO brand instructions, my son was able to complete the build within about 8 hours total time. Some of the pieces don't quite fit/snap together as tight as others, so for the tail section we needed some glue on a 2-inch strip because the weight of the whole tail section caused it to keep separating. We used gorilla gel glue and let it set overnight which did the trick.Other little nitpicks we found are:1- the minigun, once in place, is actually off center even though in the photos it looks to be centered.2- The missiles on the wings are very easy to knock off if you aren't careful so we will be gluing these down.3- some of the illustrations in the manual are off color, so pieces that are grey look black in the book and vice versa, but we had no missing pieces at all in this kit.4- the figures are not like typical LEGO style figures they have more of a realistic body, but the arms and hands are difficult to assemble and take some extra time. The anti aircraft gun is a very cool accessory.Overall this is a very high quality item and surpassed my expectations. This is very good value for the money and we recommend it.

Looks realistic
Built this with my 8 year old son. Lots of fun and the final product is pretty realistic. The only drawback to this design is the that backbone is not very sturdy so it separates from the midsection pretty easily. This cuts down on the playability. We just Elmer glued it and that helped keep it in place better.

The tail part of the plane is a little loose. Super glue recommended..
The plane is amazing. Still assembling the airplane. Some parts of the plane are a bit loose. I would recommend using superglue and apply some of the loose parts or else the plane structure will break.

Brick Built Emergency
This was my first foray into building bricks outside of the Lego brand; I was eagerly awaiting this model as I loved the images and details shown in product images. I decided on the Keefe brand instead of Cobi for this A-10 Thunderbolt, since the pictures are really impressive. The images of this Keefe model compared to the Cobi model were more aggressive looking, particularly the nose shape and engines. Although the look of the plane and angles of this model are really nice looking, the lack of quality in the bricks really detracted from the overall model and building experience. Early on in construction, the blocks were not matching up and therefore the clutch power of the bricks was very poor. I've been building Legos since I was a kid, and I'm still a fan as an adult due to the completely great building experience. This A-10 model was something I was really looking forward to getting, but ultimately I was very disappointed in since the clutch power of the bricks was weak, and numerous sections of this plane did not stay together strongly. The look was great, but I'll be very hesitant to purchase another model from this brand because the quality of the bricks themselves made for a very frustrating building experience.

Cheapo but not Lego.
Cheap plastic most pieces in the set did not even fit into other bricks without the help of glue or sandpaper.

Awesome for the price
The pieces aren’t nearly as good as Lego; some fit too tightly, some are too loose. Structurally, you have to be very careful when picking it up and moving it around, and even if you are careful you’re probably going to end up having something fall off. So with that in mind, it definitely isn’t for a child to play with, but it is going to be great for a display piece. Might want to use a little glue as you are building. Instructions are very easy to follow but the pieces aren’t as quality controlled as Lego pieces and the design is a bit flawed. Overall it’s a great value, considering a comparable Lego set would likely be at least twice as much.

A bit of glue needed!!
Most of the reviews are correct. A bit of glue is recommended. Not sure what they are thinking when designing this back section of the plane. Good project to build with my son. Would agree some parts are too loose and some too tight. Overall not bad for the price.
