Honest review is difficult
Unfortunately, the maker claims of this not working well on boards that have been down for a while makes it difficult to review. It hasn't worked for me, stairs creek as normal but they have been doing that for a long time, sooooooo.

Fairly effective
I’m a U.K resident and imported this item, had no issues. I purchased this kit for creaky carpeted stairs as I had no access underneath.Having done a few stairs (about 4 nails per stair) I have noticed a definite improvement. However, I would say don’t purchase if you think it will stop the creaking entirely.The nails do go through the carpet without leaving any sign of entry.However a word of warning, if you don’t drill the screw in deep enough you may end up leaving a slightly protruding piece of nail after snapping it. This happened to me once and was an absolute nightmare, as it was impossible to try and get the nail out. I’m the end I used brute strength to snap the end off but I was at my wits end.Having done it once though I have subsequently just made sure to drill it a bit deeper than instructed for a bit of safety, haven’t had any more problems.

8 years of squeaks gone in 20 minutes.
Since we bought this house we’ve had a squeaky floor under the carpet on one side of the bed. I saw this solution and thought I’d give it a go. I followed the instructions of which I’d recommend before starting and kicked off. Within 2 screws I saw an improvement and carried on along the dodgy joist. 20 or so screws later spaced about 4inch apart the whole side of the bed is silent. The screws snapped off as designed leaving no marks, no sharp points and a completely invisible and SILENT result. Very pleased

Does the job
Had bought a stud finder to assist this product but, it was useless. However removed carpet to locate studs and used the screws to secure the boards. A solid result and I do recommend this product for the permanent fixture.

Works as outlined definitely reduces squeak from floorboards

very surprised this item is not available in the UK as with import it becomes very expensive

Great easy fix
Fantastic product, easy to use. Fixed our squeaky floorboards no mess.
