I bought these socks specifically to hike in the deep canyons of southern Utah and they were PERFECT. I hiked for 11 hours straight in them one day and loved every second. They prevented sand from getting between the sandal and my feet, thus avoiding any blisters. They kept my feet from getting the chill of colder water, prevented sand from getting inside the sock, and prevented sunburn.Others had durability issues wearing as a standalone, but I had great success wearing them as a "sock" underneath my sandals where I would expect the socks to hold up just fine over many more trips.TIP: follow the size guide and order up a size if you're on the fringe.

I bought these August 2021 and it is now January 2024 and I’m buying a new pair. I live in Hawai’i and there’s plenty of coral and lava rock that hurts if you accidentally step on it. The left foot toe started to break the first protective layer and that’s why I’m buying another pair. I wear size 71/2-8 and I purchased the medium. I have very skinny feet and high arches and long toes, they fit perfectly. I love how high they go, they have this Velcro strap and it keeps them from falling off while in the water. Initially I bought these to help keep my fins on, since they were a little too big, but I used them a lot for other things as well. Buy it, you won’t regret it, well as long as you know how to pick your feet up when walking, I’m not a foot dragger.

Size is always an issue. These ended up being a bit large but still usable. Nice product.

I bought these for surfing because I wanted something that made me feel more barefoot than traditional surf booties. These work great, very snug, and grips are good, felt very close to being barefoot and my feet were nice and warm. They did get a little bit water logged at one point, but because they're nice and snug, it didn't affect my surfing or comfortability. I've only used them once so I can't speak to their durability or long they'll last but so far I really like them and wish I bought them sooner. Only thing that I'd change wouks be to make them split toe like most surf booties.

To start, I'll say that I probably used these harder than they were intended for, and I'm factoring that into my rating.I'm a kiteboarder, using these in a midwest lake with a loamy, sometimes rocky bottom, with some stray sticks thrown in for good measure. I've also had to do the "walk of shame" a few times with them. (read: a long, slow walk, with gear in hand, back to the launch site because the winds suddenly died.)I bought these in August, and the right sock already has a hole in the toe. Also, the ball of the foot on both sides is worn, and will probably have a hole soon. I probably put 2-3 miles of walking on sandy, rocky beaches, and through the water across several sessions. Never on concrete or asphalt.So, these are diving socks. They're not meant for long walks, and I get that. With kiteboarding, there's a lot of sliding the socks in and out of the footstraps, which puts pressure on the toes that wouldn't happen with snorkling.It's still a little disappointing to have them fail within 3 months of purchase.Pros:- Super comfortable.- Fits great- Keeps your feet toasty and comfortable- Takes the edge off hostile objectsCons:- Durability really ought to be a little better than this. Maybe a thin layer of rubber along the bottom for reinforcement?Overall, if you're buying these for diving or snorkling, and you'll really only use them while suspended in the water, then this review would be more like 4 stars. They work great for that.If you plan on any kind of sport multi-use....they work, but they're not durable.

These socks fit beautifully, are comfortable and well made.

I wore these for six days of snorkeling. They worked perfectly! The size was just right for my feet. They were easy to put on, stayed on while snorkeling, and were easy to remove when I was done. They also stayed on when I took off the flippers. Most of the snorkeling was off a boat but I really appreciated having these on for the few beach snorkeling trips because they helped protect my feet while walking over broken shells and lava. Glad I had these with me for the trip.

I bought these to go inside my wading boots, very comfortable and not bulky. I've only wore these a few times so I cant really comment on the wear and tear longevity. For the price you can't go wrong.

Keeps the feet warmer in the 4° water and somewhat protects from rocks.
