Good option for light/medium chewers
I purchased these for an 18lb poodle mix. As soon as the box arrived, she knew it was something for her. She was sniffing at the box. I gave her one as soon as I opened the box. She sniffed it, played with it for a few minutes, then took off with it. It took her about 30-40 minutes to chew through it. She is a light to medium chewer. She has had Best bully sticks in the past but not the curly sticks. These curly sticks are 'thick' in the sense that they are wide. The ones I received varied from 1/2 to a little over 1 inch wide. What I usually consider to be the 'thickness' of the stick is actually a quarter of an inch or less. This is a completely different product than the bully sticks I have purchased from this company in the past. Thick bully sticks (the straight ones) are round whereas these are more of a strip shaped into a spiral. I am not saying this is a bad product. I am saying this is a different product than the straight bully sticks. My dog actually prefers these curly sticks. I put out some of the other bully sticks we have and she took off with this one. I think the shape makes these easier for her to grip. These sticks do have a bit of a smell but it isn't as bad as some bully sticks she has had. Overall, a great product for our dog.

Surrogate dog owner's review of a great treat!
I bought these for my sister's (big) baby, General Grievous. Trust me, he's much nicer than his namesake. When they arrived, I couldn't wait to take the bag over to her house for two reasons: one, to see the confused look on her face when I show her a bag of odd-looking spiral treats; and two, so I can see Grievous give his seal of approval.I quickly achieved both objectives within seconds of walking in her house. My sister scrunched her face with a mixture of surprise and amusement when I showed her the bag.She asked, "What's that?"I replied, "Well, it looks like a bully stick, but in a cool shape instead of the boring ones you get him all the time."She rolled her eyes, "Oh, Good Lord."General Grievous sat patiently as I opened the sealed bag, watching me with great interest. He knew the contents of the bag were for him, but nothing could have prepared him for the treat inside. I reached in the bag and he licked his lips in anticipation while his giant radar-like ears stood tall. Pulling a suitably large piece from the bag, I gave him an excited command to "go to bed" and watched as he jumped onto my sister's leather chaise (at least it used to be a chaise, until he claimed it as his new bed).I handed him the curly treat and as he licked it a few times, as he usually does with new things. After a few seconds, he decided it was safe to eat and started chewing it with his powerful jaws and perfect teeth. He approved, my sister shook her head, and I was very pleased.Grievous definitely enjoyed this neat snack, perhaps your best friend will too!

Puppy destractor!
We have a 20 week excitable puppy who loves to check anything and everything from cats toys to furniture and hands and feet. These bully bones are awesome keeping her entertained. The only thing I can say negative it the smell! They smell somewhat like a fart, But it is well worth it if puppy isn't chewing our hands and furniture.

Smell HORRIBLE!! Worse than any other bully stick we have given our dog.
My 20lb mini labradoodle, Fitz, LOVES straight bully sticks so when I saw these on the prime day sale I excitedly bought them for him.First though when opening the bag- they smell sooooo bad! We couldn't stand the smell! We took one out and zipped the bag up quickly thinking maybe just 1 out wouldn't smell that bad.We gave it to Fitz and he did love it! He was able to eat it much quicker than a straight 6" bully stick, which was disappointing considering the price. Usually the straight 6" bully sticks take him a few hours to eat, these curly ones he ate in less than 30 minutes.Would have liked it to last longer.Afterwards Fitz's breath smelled HORRIBLE!!! Absolutely HORRIBLE!These are being returned. I just feel bad because Fitz did like them, but we cannot stand the smell of them or his breath after eating. It was horrible. We will be sticking with the 6" straight ones.

My dogs LOVED them... and they are good for them too
my 6 dogs could not wait to get their paws on these treats. The 6 of them LOVED them. I had forgotten that I ordered them. When the amazon box arrived, the dogs were climbing all over it. I could not imagine why until I opened the box. We have a rule in this house. Before getting a treat or meal, the dogs must sit quietly and wait for their name to be called. As soon as I took the sticks out of the box, all six butts hit the floor and they sat waiting for their treat. Of course I could not disappoint, so they each got one and ran off to enjoy them without even one, thanks Mom! I shall be buying these again.

Inconsistent-
Last purchased bag was off compared to what we have received before. Thin, brittle sticks, count was off, one stick was broken.-Great! Big bag; large, thick sticks that are solid all the way through, not hollow or brittle. I was getting tired of buying sticks in small packages, so I'll be getting this bag in the future; price is great for what you get. They DO have a smell, but it's not more noticeable than any other natural dog chew, unless you were to stick your head in the bag? When opened, the bag does have an odor, goes away after you zip it though. I can't smell it when the dog is chewing it, that's enough for me. The sizes are pretty even, most of my sticks are 6" or a bit more, see attached picture for reference.

My pups absolutely love these
I have 3 dogs and I give them each one after they eat dinner. They love them and can't wait to get one. I like the quality, variety of different sizes and shapes and they seem pretty healthy for them. If I had one critique it's that they are definitely not the cheapest product out there.

Yorkie approved
My Yorkie LOVED these. He can plow through one bully stick in one night! I do give a Warning! When you first open the bag whew....it really stinks BUT! once you close the bag there is no smell. I would order these again but price is a little steep to order as often as I would like. I like that these are all natural and that I know what my dog is eating.
