Women's Gel-Excite 6 Running Shoes

I run 5 miles 3-5 days a week. I was looking for new running shoes that also fit in a budget. My Skechers style was updated/discontinued and I kept reading that ASICS brand were highly rated. I’ve never tried but will be skeptical to try again. I’m no marathoner by any means, but I’ve never had a foot hurt so much after running in this shoe. No arch support and the bottoms of my feet were killing me. Being in physical pain while running is not what it should feel like. The soles feel like there’s no shock absorption so it’s like running on concrete with no relief. The fit/size was as expected but the shoes have been thrown in a box after trying to break them in over multiple runs and still being in pain after running. I tried to add memory foam insoles and I think it just made it worse. I really really wanted to like these shoes but I listen to my body and they fell short of expectations. I think they would be comfortable as fashion/walk around shoes but aren’t equipped for any really exercise.

I have a super high arch, thank you ballet, so finding shoes for me specifically is a little more difficult than most. The arch doesn’t support my foot personally but it doesn’t cause any fatigue after wearing them and being on my feet for 14/15 hours. I’ve been wearing them for about a month and I’ve loved how comfy they are to walk in. And they’re so SILENT when you walk which is amazing because I work night shift!

I have bought ACS for several years and love each style and pair! I have bad feet ( flat footed, arthritis, etc) and these make those problems go away! Great prices for the item!

I love my ASICS. It is the only sports shoe I’ve been wearing since I started long distance running 22years ago. I never need to break in a pair and this pair was no different. It is a walking shoe with a flatter tread on the sole. Great support when I walk (I no longer run). Keeps my foot stable and balanced. My only problem is that either it is shorter or the toe box is narrower. No a big enough issue to return them since I think the next size up would be too big. I will continue to buy this shoe and model. It is a workhorse.

These shoes look really good. I'm a runner and probably won't buy these again, but I will stick with Asics as I have for years. They are not the best of Asics in that they are a stiff shoe and don't have as much cushion as what I usually buy. I've put 20 miles on them so far and my feet are stiff and achy.

This athletic shoe met my expectations in every way: I ordered a 9 1/2, my regular size. Fit was true to size, with a good finger width between toe and end of shoe. I specifically ordered this style as the 3000 style had too much arch support. This shoe gives greater than moderate support, but not so much that my arch is sore at the end of an active day. The width is exact, with no rubbing on either side. I spent an 8 hour day in these puppies with little or no time off my feet and they did the job--my feet were supported, cushioned and comfortable. As a bonus, they are very sharp looking with the colored flares over the white background. And they clean up great! Soooo happy!

I have been a runner for years and have gone through the Nimbus transitions of being smaller than normal and the toe box being narrow. I thought I would try these for a change of pace for walking on the sidewalk and beach. They are great for the price and super comfortable. They feel like you're walking in slippers and for a third of the price of the Nimbus sneakers.

Within the first use, the tongue would not stay center. I had to lace them up tight for it not to move. An issue I never had before with my past shoes.I run a minimum of 4 mi a day and by mid day, the heel starts rubbing to where it feels like a blister will start - but never does. Not something I want to deal with the rest of the day.Returning specifically for these reasons... otherwise it fits accurately (I wear a 7.5 and it fits perfect), and its comfortable cushioning for the most part. It does seems to vent well too because my previous pair of Under Armours would make my feet feel like they have heaters in them, and I didn't experience this yet with these.

They are super comfortable and the colour is great too. Love it!!!

Este modelo no tiene mucho soporte. Siento que no está pensado para correr, realmente, sino para ser cómodo para alguien que camina o esta de pie todo el día. La suela exterior no es igual de "dura" que otros modelos de Asic, la parte Blanca es toda del mismo material de foam. El zapato blanco con negro es este modelo, el rosa es el GT 3000 como comparación del soporte que le hace falta al gel excite 6. El GT 3000 también tiene soporte adicional en la parte del talón, pero el colchón de gel interior me lastima el tendon de aquiles. El mismo colchón en el GE6 es más reducido en altura y grosor, que es la razón por la que lo elegí.

I can’t believe how fast the product got here! I am so impressed. The shoes are so comfortable. I walked more than 10K kms with my last “ASICs Gel-Equations”. While I couldn’t find the same ones, these looked very close to the same. ~ I was right.I will definitely be buying these again.. in another 10K?? :)
