fits Microline TFC-335 perfectly, same performance as previous Microline filters
The concern after reading several RO filter reviews is that there are off-brand filters out there that do not have good filtering performance. Changing filters and disinfecting the RO system is a real pain, so experimenting w/ off-brand filters is not something I'm interested in. I have always purchased "Microline" branded filters and have always had consistent performance. After 15 years of buying the "Microline" S1229RS membrane, S7028 prefilter, and S7025 postfilter, the TDS meter on my Microline manifold continues to register ~270 ppm going in and ~10 ppm going out. Though this product listing is not very informative, the actual product matches what I have been buying for years and is identical to the previous Microline filters/membrane I just replaced.Worth mentioning is my TDS meter did NOT register an increase in ppm as my filters/membrane aged. I hadn't changed my filters/membrane for over 5 years waiting for the increase, but the water did visibly yellow ever so slightly and foamed a tiny bit on dispensing. I can only attribute that to the overused filters/membrane leeching that which it absorbed over those 5 years... GROSS! After changing filters/membrane, the water is visibly clear and not foaming- what some purists would call "dead water".FYI - some reviewers have cited bits of charcoal in the water after installing new filters. It is possible the RO system was not adequately flushed in these scenarios. My manual advises to flush (fill and empty tanks) 3x. As I flushed each time, I watched my TDS meter. Before the first flush, the TDS meter OUT read over 100 ppm- this is the charcoal. Before the 2nd flush, it read a little under 100 ppm. Before the 3rd flush, it read a bit over 10 ppm (15-20). After that 3rd flush, it now reads a steady 10 ppm.

Does the job of filtering their suppose to do.
Filters work just fine. I have been using them for four years. Pre & Post filters last 4 - 5 months at my home; then water flow at dispenser starts to rapidly decline. Buy extras to keep on hand. R.O. membrane replaced after three years as recommended. Note: I have a problem with the cannisters (not the filters). Directions say to hand tighten, but one of them leaks unless I use the included wrench, and I have to use all my strength to stop it from leaking; almost like using a lug wrench. Again, I am very happy with the filters.

everything was good to go and then the water wouldn't turn on ...
The product doesn't come with many instructions, so if your unit isn't properly labeled, or if you remove the old filters before preparing the new filters, or if you remove the packaging from the new filters and then forget the packaging orientation, you're sort of stuck. Customer service reached out to me multiple times to verify I received the product. By the time I got around to actually changing my filters, everything was good to go and then the water wouldn't turn on and the tank wouldn't fill. I'm sure I did something wrong, but as there were no directions, and I inherited the unit with the house I have no directions for the unit too. I'll have to do some fanagling with the tank or with the filters...maybe a filter is upside down? I doubt it, but if a filter is upside down a simple one-page visual diagragm would have prevented that. Of course, this may be user error only. I'm sure the filters are fine, I'm only giving a low rating as, for the amount of money I spent for these, simple instructions would have meant a simple installation.
