Great for Small Dogs
The foam is sturdy/stiff and stands up well. The fabric is soft and textured and blends well with my floor and sofa. I have tried several brands of stairs for my miniature pinschers who have had back, neck, and balance issues as they have grown older. I'm a particular shopper and I usually can't find models with the features and quality I want and that work well. Pet Gear makes a sturdy plastic stair and I used to use that for my English bulldog, but in recent models the plastic is thinner and the carpet on the stairs is skimpy and slick; the min pin slipped a few times so I gave the stairs away. Also, the Pet Gear stairs have a higher rise. While this foam dog stair is somewhat expensive, it has worked well so far. The steps are very short in rise so he doesn't have to take big leaps, and the steps are tilted at a downward angle. I bought the three-step model for the sofa and the four-step model for the bed (I have a very high bed, so had to place the four-step model on a platform base). My min pin is only 8 pounds, so I expect the stairs to last for some time. There are anti-skid nubs on the bottom of the stair fabric; while not perfect on a hardwood floor, they do tend to inhibit movement and sliding. I just make sure I notice and adjust the placement when necessary, which has not been often. Overall, these foam stairs work well for a small senior dog, and I'm very pleased with them.

Edit
My dogs are using this on a daily basis and the cover has done well. I have not washed it yet but it seems to be sturdier than I thought on first appearance . I have three small dogs, and they absolutely love it and use it every dayThe cover is made of a cheap material and I’m afraid the first time I need to remove it for washing, it won’t go back on. The steps themselves are great and my dog loves them . I may return

Works as advertised
Stairs work well for my 12 year old chihuahua. He wasn't super happy to use them at first, but he's getting used to it. It took several days to completely fill out as it's vacuum sealed memory foam. It's been about a week or so and the stairs are 16 inches tall and about 14 inches wide, plenty big for my dog as he's only 4lbs.

Works well for my elder(13+) Dachshunds~ Topmart 3 Tiers Ramps~ Sturdy easy to assemble
Only a couple months in, but works much better for my elder (13+) Dachshunds. We had one made of plastic which worked well for several years, but steps were deeper, and even with joint meds was getting very difficult for two of them.~Pros:~~Very easy to assemble. Poke n go.~~MUCH easier for my babies with short legs to get onto their couch!~~Easy to remove cover to wash~~Seems to be sturdy enough but can not attest to longevity, as have not had long enough.~~ All in all, for the moment, great product as long as the foam holds up for a couple years.Cons:~~None at the moment but will update if something changes.

LIGHT WEIGHT FOAM DOGGY STAIRS ARE USER FRIENDLY FOR ME AND MY DOG
The stairs came as a roll of impervious. bendable, heavy duty foam that I took out of the bag and allowed it to expand on its own before trying to place it into the soft, plushy pillow cover with zipper bottom.I wrestled it into the material cover; pushed and pulled to get it to settle into the case. Now, I could put it up by the side of my bed. It is sturdy, and the steps are almost rounded, for easy access. I taught my poodle to jump up onto the stairs to begin the ascent to the top of the bed. She even understands descending the stairs even better now! I always give her high praise when she climbs the stairs on her own, when I notice her confidence soaring after about a month of training. She understands it, thankfully! It doesn't jut into the room too deeply, but I suggest turning on the lights before you walk from the bed. I did trip once over it, not too badly - especially since the foam is a great substance to fall into. It completely broke my fall. I didn't sustain any injuries, thankfully I didn't fall onto my knees. The foam is great and sturdy padding. My dog is 12-13 lbs. in weight. Falling off has never been an issue for her. She doesn't bark so much due to wanting attention to be lifted from the ground. She can now scale the 3-tiered ramp herself. It takes some practice and bonding time with your dog, but I think mine finds it fun at the same time. Be patient and aware.

Perfect
I bought these for my 10 year old yorkie poo to be able to get on my bed. He uses them to get on and off. It’s just the right size. Soft but firm. Definitely recommend.

Game Changer for Old, Small Dog
Works so well for our old, arthritic chihuahua mix dog that this is the 4th one we've bought. We now have have them for 2 beds, a couch and a chair. Only took a day or two for her to get the hang of it. I put bacon treats on the stairs and put her on the first stair. These are so much easier for the dog than the rigid stair-type ones or ramps. The corduroy cover is soft so doesn't bother her feet, but is naturally non-slip. Because the stairs are at an angle, it's more like walking up hill than jumping up stairs, so easier on the dog's spine and legs. Our dog takes it at a run going up them, but walks down at a normal pace. We have them in blue, grey and brown - are all neutral and blend in with the room colors. I've had to wash one and had no problem. When removing the foam from the packaging initally, the foam expanded to desired shape immediately or overnight for 3 of the 4. The 4th one took a few days, and then it still didn't lay quite flat on the floor...had to prop up the edge of it, but after weeks of use it finally flattened out. Ours are all on rugs or carpet and stay in place fairly well. I imagine on hard surfaces you might need a rug pad or similar underneath. Price seems fair given that they work so well, are safe and look decent. Only thing I would ask for is a little higher one for beds... the 4 step one still leaves a fair size jump needed to get from the top stair to tall beds.
