KRYDEX Quick Release Buckle Set (Coyote Brown)

The media could not be loaded.  I love this! Just for the speed and versatility that adds to my plate carrier. Super convenient to just be able to clip on and off. IMPORTANT.... THIS WILL NOT WORK IF MORE THAN ONE PERSON WEARS THE PLATE CARRIER, The way that it works is you set it up for your body and forget it plain and simple. A couple of times I've had to add some oil to the tube, just that it runs smoothly. But you can do it perfectly fine without oil and you barely notice the difference. Overall outstanding product and 10 out of 10 would suggest for any plate carriers or people that don't want to have to re-velcro there plate carrier every time!

I purchased an plate carrier that did not have quick disconnects and this solved the problem. Install was a bit confusing at first but once I figured it out went smooth. Like new items, they were a little bit stiff at first but once broke in they operated smoothly and makes getting in and out of my PC a breeze.

So far I really like this set up. It is easy to convert existing system to the tubes system. If I had one reason to deduct a star it’s due to the system to holds back the folded over Velcro. I’m not sure the single strap will hold up with a lot of movement.I’m cautiously optimistic this setup will stand up to use and abuse and not fail at an inopportune moment. If I were an LEO or military I think I’d just opt for an entirely new cummerbund with the system built in, but this is satisfactory for my intended purposes.

Tldr: if you hate Velcro sound or opening plate carrier flap every time to put it on and take off, buy this now. Buy it yesterday so you get it delivered today.Tl:Really happy with this. I personally only need it/ wanted it on one side so the second piece can be a spare if the other wears out. That being said, it is high quality and I don't see it having issues anytime soon. Though I probably won't be putting it through the same stress as when I was active duty, the front mags should protect it when going prone and keep pressure off of it while on ground.The release and connection mechanism is a little weird compared to seat belt style clips, but this is also much cheaper. It releases well though and that is the most import part to me anyways. Depending on how tight you make your cummerbund it might make it a little weird to connect, but once its locked in it's solid and will not easily release unless deliberate.

Love this! Installed easily on an AR500 Veritas with cummerbund. Got the tip from another reviewer to just mount on one side and then you have a spare. Primary use for my PC is home defense but will be doing workouts (minus the AR mags) with it soon. So much easier to put it on and take it off. Time will tell about durability but happy so far!UPDATE: just like another buyer experienced, the material that attaches via loops to the hard plastic clips were working their way off during activity. I glued and zip tied some car trim material I had sitting around to prevent this from happening. If you use your PC only occasionally when you hear something in the middle of the night, you probably won’t have to deal with this issue. But if you use it for exercise or drill with it, you will most likely have to address it. Just wanted prospective buyers to know this…

After reading some reviews, I thought I would give this a shot. Wow.. it works great! I was worried about the tabs coming off my laser cut molle cummerbund but all I did was once I had the buckle inserts set, I took the strap that holds the front half of the band thru the same slots thus preventing them from coming off now that there's a wrap of webbing to cover them over. All in all, I saved myself $70 over a dedicated cumberbund with QDs. This makes putting it on and taking it off so much simpler. And I believe one reviewer said it had the wrong side velcro for his carrier. Just take it off and flip it around. DUH...

Lovely product, no comparissons to any other out there tbh. only 2 point i would improve, 1. develop a better way to tie the existing flap down so there is no gap. 2. Make the quick release snap back on magneticly like the noveritch ones. But with that said, there is no others like this and at this price point i cant complaint, the quick release clips themselves feel whell made and the molle solution works as advertised. Desent first impression and overall GOOD product !

Bought for a condor carrier the I wanted a easy way out without yanking that big front cover up, I also modded the back of cumberbun hated the elastic crap.....I would highly recommend this, it fit my condor great
