How to Catch a Snowman

I purchased this for my grandaughter. She loves it. We had added it to our weekend sleepover list.

I’m looking forward to reading to my students at school.

Funny and enjoyable my students loved it and we were able to use companion activities to expand their reading comprehension.

My 4 year old has been enjoying the "How to catch" series of books; absolutely loves the 'How to Catch a Monster' and the Dragon book. We bought this one but it's a completely different writing style and not engaging at all. It wasn't really clear why the kids were chasing the snowman and the writing was extremely dull, and it kept dragging on for too long. My 4 year old zoned out midway and I don't blame him.We'll return this one and try some other books in the series.Will give it 2 stars as the illustrations are actually very good.

My daughter absolutely loves the How to Catch A... books. She is 8.5 and has basically moved on to chapter books but the cute story lines, the children's shenanigans and the beautiful artwork in these books keep her interested and looking forward to the next one to come out. We have collected all the books in this series over the past year and I intend on continuing that "tradition" and keeping them so she can pass them on to her children one day - that's how beautiful they are!

Great book for Kindergarten class! Can associate a stem project with it !
