Exactly as described, they work wonders in my garden and save me from having to apply chemicals on my organic plants. Always arrive on time, live and very active. They work preventatively best but you can just buy a greater amount if you find you are infested with spider mites. I have had great success both ways but certainly recommend using them preventatively for the greatest ease for gardener and best plant health management 👍🏻

We have an area in our yard that is filled with pea sized gravel. We use lawn furniture there year-round. We were heavily infested with red spider mites in the gravel. The predatory mites did the trick, and the spider mites were gone. It was pretty amazing!

I saw 1 moving thing out of the entire bottle.Edit: I was given an option for re-delivery or a refund. I don't trust the quality for these since it's my second time receiving them dead, but I do appreciate the seller making it right.

There bugs often arrive dead. Especially when they get moisture in the bottle. I have spent thousands of dollars on these bugs and they never seem to work all the way. For the price of them it's expensive and not really worth it. When something goes wrong they won't fix or refund. When they have arrived dead its because when they are preparing them they get water in the bottle and it kills most of them. I'm getting sick of this product. Be careful before going this route they don't seem to get rid of the problem all the way. I have seriously spent thousands on them now 300-600 dollars a month and still haven't gotten rid of them..

The mites come in 5 vials, with roughly 1,000 mites each. Corn meal is used to help disperse them evenly but it can also make a bit of a mess after you shake it off. Always check each vial for live mites before applying. Shaking/tapping the vial is the best way to get them to show themselves. Wait at least a few minutes for them to warm up, though. They'll often be very active on the cap upon opening it too. Pick a good spot on the plants to put the cap (and the emptied vial) beforehand.Mites are usually vibrant and plentiful, but if any vials are low in activity, Bug Sales is very understanding and will reship the order very promptly with very little hassle.Note: Every down only applies to indoor use; no experience with outdoor use.As you might expect, their effectiveness against spider mites depends on at what stage you discover the spider mites and the size/number/type of plants afflicted. If leaves are heavily speckled, mites are about under every leaf, you discover webs, etc., you may want to take measures to thin out the population before applying (e.g., cutting off infected foliage and/or semi-power spraying them off with water).Getting rid of the spider mites completely will likely require multiple applications over a period of weeks to build the predator mite population. The predator mites seem really effective at keeping spider mites at bay, though--especially in places where they're practically unavoidable and bound to resurface (e.g., rural areas). That all said, the predator mites do seem to die off eventually (and attack each other at some point). Introducing alternative food sources might be effective in preventing that, but I have yet to try it (e.g., Neoseiulus Californicus can supposedly survive on pollen).

Iv had problems with the smaller bottle 2000.but the 5000 always seem to workout!

I sprinkled these on my 8' plant after seeing many spider mites on the leaves and minor damage. 3 days later no alive spider mites and can still see the predatory ones running around on the leaves. Update a week later no predatory mites left and spider mites are all over the place. It was worth a try i guess.
