Bought it for my office room. The first picture is the dimmest light and second one is the brightest. Love the way it turned out.

We bought this as a result of spending too much time inside for covid. Being inside all day causes people to become slow, depressed and sad from lack of exposure to light. We bought this light specifically to address that lack of light like people who live close ot arctic circle experience. So now whenever myself or my child have desk work to do we set light up near by to shine in eyes and stimulate brain. Works good! My child is more alert and less bothered.Has 2 brightness levels and very high output soft light.

This is a great product. I love how bright it gets and how it blends in on my cluttered desk. It helps me with my mood, especially on dark/gloomy days when my mood gets real low.My only suggestion would be to include some information about when/how to use this light for the best effect. For example, I didn’t know beforehand that it’s really effective to turn the light on for 30 minutes everyday when you wake up. It would help to inform people about something like that since not many people know this.

This is a great little light! I’ve seen so many UV Therapy lamps that you have to sit with your face stuck basically right in them for a countless amount of time. But, this is one so beautifully bright, it does the job from anywhere in the room! I have an open floor plan, so I just plugged mine up in the kitchen and floods my entire downstairs with UV light. The improvement to my overall mood was almost instantaneous! I used it for one day, and woke up the next morning feeling almost like my old self again. This lamp is perfect for anyone hiding out at home during this pandemic and maybe not getting enough sunlight, and would be especially beneficial to those, like myself,,that suffer from Seasonal Associated Depression! It come super well packaged and works straight out of the box. Just paid it in and soak up the benefits.

As the summer winds down, so will the intensity of daylight entering my makeshift covid-free home-office. I didn't realize how much exposure to sunlight makes a difference to my overall mood. Working at home allowed me to set up a workstation by a window and it made all the difference mu overall mood. I bought the Taotronics Light Therapy Lamp because 1) I have a bunch of other Taotronics products and they've all exceeded my expectations and 2) the reviews on this product and online research convinced me that this will help prevent the seasonal symptoms of SAD. I ordered this 10,000 lux version and during a 3 day stretch of rain, turned it on for a few hours while I worked. My initial impression was that it was bright. Actually, way too bright. Luckily, there is a dimming feature and I was able to adjust it enough that it wasn't blinding. It took several minutes to get accustomed to the brightness and after using it for the next several days, I know my winter months will be a little more bearable.

This is small, about 10 inches across, so it’s perfect for the bedroom or office. The buttonless touch controls are very simple: on/off, and brightness. It is VERY bright at the highest setting, almost like looking directly at the sun! I think the 50 percent setting is about right if you’re going to have your face close to it.The power control is very sensitive and the lamp will turn off if your hair brushes against it.It is lightweight plastic and tips over easily if you brush against it, so if you have pets or small children, you may want to put it away when not in use. It can survive tipping over onto a surface, but I don’t think it would survive falling off, say, a desk onto a hardwood floor.Overall, this is a compact and effective lamp for SAD. It gives a brilliant but diffused white light (the plastic “lens” over it is matte finish and diffuses the light).

I got this lamp about a week and a half ago after remembering how much I loathe daylight savings. I have used it every day in the morning for about 20ish minutes while I drink my coffee and so far I feel like it is helping me a lot. I notice my moods are a little brighter, and I don't feel as tired or irritable when it's pitch dark at 5pm. I am definitely going to continue using this throughout the winter.The item itself is a sleek modern design. The light is extremely bright and turns on by tapping it. I don't believe it has a timer function but I don't feel like I'm missing out on that. The light is more of a blue light rather than a yellow light which I don't like as much. But at the end of the day it is helping me a lot! Plus the price is very reasonable.

I'm very pleased with my purchase!! Not only is the design curvilinear, modern and nice to look at, the touch controls add to the sleek design of this lamp. The start of fall/winter darkness in the morning has been tough to adjust to mentally. During the weird time we're living in with COVID, I feel I have no sense of time while being stuck indoors for the majority time of the day! I use the light for about 20 minutes every morning and the same time towards the end of the day when it's dark out at 4pm. It helps me feel more awake in the morning and keeps my energy up towards the end of the day. It's a very bright light at the highest setting so I'm thankful for the ability to adjust the brightness.

I don't have any condition or the winter blues but here in Quebec Canada we don't get much light in winter and it affects my overall mood and energy level. Plugging this little light on next to my desk when I work at home or next to my reclined sofa chair while I read makes me happy. I plug it in and instantly smile! I feel happier and lighter and more focused when it's on.Also it's very powerful and I love the shape of it being round it's truly a mini sun in my home. My husband funds it too bright but I always have it at the max. Really depends on your light sensitivity. He's very sensitive ;)

I got this lamp on sale when it was $50 off (not sure way) and it's so worth it. Compared to other therapy lamps, this one is actually beautiful and fits so well into my interior. The brightness is adjustable, and the max setting is SO bright, like a spotlight. I have the lamp on at my desk when it's gloomy outside and it's helped me be less depressed and more focused just because of the extra light. It's a bright white, not warm white light, which I find is actually closer to the bright sun colour. 100% recommend. Arrived super fast in a nice box, easy to turn on, touch screen, sturdy stand. Looks like an interior design piece!

I suffer from bi polar depression and seasonal depression, I received this lamp last weekend and I can already tell a positive difference in my mood. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who also suffers from depression!
