UPDATE!I originally received a faulty bottle, so gave it 2 stars. However, the seller contacted me and offered a free replacement. They explained that there are occasionally some bottles with lids that don't screw tight, and assured me it wasn't reflective of the overall quality. So I gladly accepted a replacement, and the second bottle is much better! The lid screws tight and doesn't pop off like the old one. So I'm very happy and have increased my rating to 4 stars.Original Review: The top comes off really easy, and doesn't screw tight, it just keeps going round and round. So it's fine for light use, but not if you need it to be really water tight, or if you intend to carry it by the strap attached to the lid.

This water bottle is fantastic based on the following reasons.The water bottle is made of thick glass and has been carefully finished to provide a nice smooth finish to the bottle. The Rubber cover round the bottle holds its shape and doesnt strech and loosen round the bottle which has happened to me with other products.The bottle cap is the most impressive feature as this is the 1st time I have ever come across a truely leak proof bottle.I have only used water in the bottle so as far as keeping it clean I just the the bottle neck a quick wipe and rinse out the bottle before refilling.If you are going out for a run then this isnt the kind of bottle you would want to take with you. Once filled it adds more weight but because the glass is so think it does weigh more than a typical plastic sports bottle of similar size.Carrying the bottle around is made easy by the fabric loop in the bottle cap which is of very high quality construction.The one thing I would crittisize is the Rubber cover having stylish holes in it. It might make the bottle look really cool but it makes me anxious that ill whack the corner of something and land a fatal blow right on a weak spot.So far this hasnt happened and the glass is thick enough that it probably wouldnt matter anyway . We bought 2 of these bottles, one in blue and one in green but the colours are very similar so I keep picking up the wrong bottle. Might be worth picking bottles at opposite ends of the colour spectrum if your buying multiple bottles for your household.

I want to drink more water but hate the plastic taste ordinary bottles have. Now, l can fill my bottle as many times as necessary, straight from my home tap. I have no problem with Thames Waters finest. It’s a great size, maybe slightly heavy for my arthritic hands, but I am doing fine. The lid is easy for me to grip, to open and the sleeve also helps with securing the bottle in my hand while drinking. Hopefully, the cover will protect the bottle from slight tips in my handbag, l had a different brand bottle fall as my bag just keeled over while stood up on the floor while l paid for shopping. The bottle smashed, causing untold problems to my phone etc. I am more cautious with this one, so hopefully it will be fine. At the moment, l am extremely happy with my purchase.

Fantastic water bottle, great quality cover and lid, really worth the money. Not sure what previous reviews are on about....it's simple to clean and comes with a couple of long cleaning tools to help those that find it difficult! I was looking for a glass bottle to avoid plastics, and this is really just perfect. The lid is metal with plastic rims, but the plastic does not come into contact with the water. It's obviously not as light as a plastic bottle, but light enough to feel comfortable in my handbag. My only gripe is that I wish it were slightly larger in capacity.

Slightly disappointed when it arrived to find it wasn't recommended for the dishwasher and the neck was too narrow for a regular dishwashing brush, but I bought a bottle brush and the problem was solved.HOWEVER, I had the bottle a week before I dropped the bag I was carrying it in from the height of a couple of feet and it completely shattered - glass (and water) everywhere in my bag. Whilst I realise it's glass I thought the neoprene sleeve should offer some protection, and that the glass would be toughened enough to perhaps crack if dropped but not to shatter dangerously.Turned out to be a waste of money. I'll now be buying a steel water bottle instead.

I was a fan already of this branch bottle before of this model. Solid glass bottle with attractive design. The cap closes tightly and does not allow spillage. The rubber sleeve means it's easy to grip without being slippery. However, the drawback to the rubber sleeve is that it's a little hard to stuff down the side pocket of your rucksack due to the friction. It's a little on the pricey side for what is essentially a water receptacle but considering the potential dangers of using plastic bottles, it's well worth the purchase price. Plus I'm certain if you don't break it, you can basically use it for a good long time.

Really durable, it's remained in one piece despite my dog's best efforts to destroy the world (plus the bottle). So much so that I bought a second one within a week as I was using it so much and didn't want to give it up to the washing up fairy. The taste is absolutely phenomenal in that there isn't one! All I can taste is my drink which really is a refreshing change. The only thing that has made me drop a star is the colours... The poor selection of anaemic pastels is not at all what I would have ideally but the rest of the product looked so good I went for it anyway. If they introduced some bolder, better colours in the frankly fantastic silicone cover it would be 5 stars no question.
