Like these a lot. Very easy to use and get setup. Integration with the Salter app is quick to setup and use although you can of course use these as a complete standalone scales. They're not that expensive when compared to alternative makes either so a good quality purchase even if you don't intend to use the Bluetooth app link. They've worked very well so far and we're 100% happy with them. Can thoroughly recommend these.

Easy to use, lightweight and compact, great for weighing out ingredients quickly.

Easy to use but two very minor issues hence only four stars, first it does not always connect first time with the App and second it can be fiddly to turn off.I love that it does millilitres and fluid ounces as well as grams and ounces.It looks great and wipes clean with no buttons to accumulate dirt or grim.Probably deserves 4 1/2 stars.

It's brilliant as a set of kitchen scales, but it goes far beyond that.At the press of the app's button, I can search the web for recipes and then easily add them to my personal collection. Not just weights of ingredients (which the scales cope with effortlessly), but ingredient lists and cooking methods too.It's an astonishingly good use of technology and the Internet Of Things.

I have had these scales for less than 4 months and already had to change the batteries twice. It may be because I am not bothering to connect to the bluetooth (I do not see this function as being very valuable) so it is constantly searching, but it's just not necessary and a faff.Also, the power button is oddly sensitive - it's tricky to turn off and you try so often it just turns on againOverall the scales work fine and are nice and compact but still weigh heavy items, but I admit I am consider buying another set

Yes - even with a big pan or bowl on top obscuring the display you can still read the weight - as by launching the app on your phone it pairs with the scales over Bluetooth almost instantly to give you a second display. This pairing doesn't need any initial set up - it just works. Simple. Given I weigh some odd sized things this is justification to buy these scales over the cheaper alternatives. Also the whole top of the scales are easy to wipe clean as it is a uniform glass surface with no buttons or recesses for LCD displays etc. The only other reason to buy these scales is that they can take heavier items than a lot of scales but for most cookery jobs that may be overkill unless you like weighing things in Le Creuset pots, or enjoy cooking Christmas puds for an extended family.I haven't tried the other app features - eg for storing recipes (including ones it can look up on the web). I might try sometime but think I'd have to be pretty bored.

I love the fact it can connect to my Salter app, especially useful when you are measuring items that obscure the scale display. There is a little lag between the scale and the Bluetooth device so you have to be patient otherwise you can add too much.As with all standard digital scales I have owned, this one is no different when measuring small amounts. Starting at 1g (when measuring yeast for example) it seems to allow far too much on the scale before registering the weight - really not confident it is accurate enough for weights under 8 grams. But for me these issues are not important - the features far outweigh (see what I did there!) the niggles

Diappointing. These are more expensive scales. I found them to be unreliable - not helped by the fact that they seem wonky and unbalanced on the work surface. The buttons are also really annoying - hard to use, you often seem to need to press them a few times to get a response. I like the Bluetooth thjng - handy when weighing in large pans or bowls - but obviosuly irrelevant given the above. I have now given up and bought a much cheaper set of scales which are already better!

J'ai déjà pas mal d'articles Salter et j'en suis très satisfaite. Celui-ci ne déloge pas à la règle.Déjà le design est vraiment beau avec son noir vitrée donc facile à nettoyer.Sa taille est de environ 18x18cm, ni trop petit ni trop grand.Elle a un Écran LCD tactile.Elle peut peser jusqu'à 10kg. Les mesures sont les classiques : kg, oz, ml, fl. OzElle fonctionne avec 3 piles AAA inclusOn peut peser chaque ingrédients rajoutés dans le récipient en appuyant à chaque fois sur le bouton zéro.Mais le plus de cette balance est qu'elle fonctionne par Bluetooth avec une application à télécharger sur son téléphone ou tablette. "Salter cook", où l'on peut enregistrer ses propres recettes aux grammes près, idéal pour les apprentis cuisiniers. Le seul inconvénient c'est qu'elle est uniquement en anglais.Donc si vous recherchez une balance de cuisine connectée pour retrouver vos recettes, celui-ci est très bien.Belle, ne prend pas de place, fonctionne parfaitement bien, bonne qualité et prix raisonnable, c'est Salter.Je recommandeEn espérant que mon commentaire vous sera utile

Je trouve la fonctionnalité bluetooth très bien adaptée pour cette balance de cuisine.En effet, les balances de cuisine étant petites, l'écran de pesée est très vite masqué par les récipients que je pose dessus (bols, saladiers, culs de poule, etc...).Ici, avec l'application Salter cook on a directement la pesée instantanée sur l'écran déporté de notre smartphone ou tablette. Ce qui est du coup bien plus pratique pour lire la valeur.Les touches en façade sont tactiles et le tare est très simple à réaliser. Je peux d'ailleurs faire le tare depuis mon iPhone en appuyant sur le bouton "Zero" de l'application.L'écran en lui même est rétro éclairé et les chiffres sont bien lisibles et écris en gros.Petit bémol : tout est en anglais, y compris l'application et les recettes intégrées, dommage.Pour moi, le gros point fort de cette balance de cuisine contrairement aux autres est donc sa fonction bluetooth qui permet de déporter la mesure en direct sur un périphérique compatible avec l'application (RAS sur iPhone 11 pro).En plus, son design est sobre et joli.A noter que les piles pour alimenter la balance sont fournies.
