Reaper: Ruthless Kings MC, Book 1

These are new authors for me and so I took a chance on the purchase of the prequel and book 1, glad I did! The Kings are a group of crazy wild bikers that you can't help but love. Reaper is the Prez and his best friend and VP, Hawk has been killed, leaving him the custody of Hawk's young son. If you read the prequel you'll discover how this comes about, so, in Book 1, Reaper is dealing with the arrival of Sarah, who happens to be Jenkins half sister! She is hot for Reaper and only sixteen years old. Reaper won't touch her no matter how hard she tries. He has decided that yes, he wants her but is willing to wait until she is eighteen to start anything with her. Jenkins/Boomer seems unsettled and conflicted about whether he wants to take his place with the Kings and patch in. This club has some very interesting members and Tongue and Jenkins to me are the most interesting. Yes, Reaper is super alpha and sexy and his relationship with Sarah is fraught with sexual tension before and after they seal the deal, but Tongue is the knife wielding psycho who I want to read more about. This dude has some serious issues and confides in only Sarah about his life - I have to know what made him so deadly, besides Sarah said that he was hot!! Jenkins/Boomer is so moody and unpredictable, he loves his sister Sarah but the reader doesn't know whether he loves the club. There is a creepy stalker after Sarah and some not really clear, to me, Mafia drama but overall good book. I don't know whether my interest in reading more about Tongue says more about me or the writing skills of K.L. Savage, I'll just wait patiently for his story. It seems Boomer is up next so I'm looking forward to reading about his journey towards what I hope is him taking his legacy place with the club!

Reaper by K.L. Savage is one intense story. This story is Reaper's (Jesse) and Sarah's love story. Their love was not an easy road for either. Reaper is the Prez of the Ruthless Kings MC. His responsibility is to the club but when Sarah arrived, everything he thought shifted. She is his everything. Reaper is much older than Sarah so he waits for two years to make his claim. Sarah tries with all her might to change his mind, much to Reaper's chagrin. Sarah's dark history comes back to haunt her and Reaper and causes major problems for the club.The story is fast paced and action packed. It is intense and full of tension. K.L. Savage gives us a good introduction to the brothers of the Ruthless Kings. Each is special in his own way. I can't wait to read everyone's individual story. Tongue is an early leader for my heart. He is revealed in Reaper to be such a quirky character and he has such a darkness to him as do the other brothers. The love that the brothers have for and show Sarah is amazing. They all dress up for her proms in some sort of tux just to show her support. I mean come on, can you say adorable?! These guys can be violent when needed but are a family that loves fiercely.This story also pulls the mafia in for a big twist. Reaper has kidnapping, explosions, torture, and murder so how can I recommend this book? The answer is simple...characters that will twist themselves into your heart. They are a bunch of Ruthless Kings and they make no apologies for who they are.

3.5⭐️ it was over half the book waiting for her to turn 18 then the slice started. The story line was just okay. It was a decent quick read. I am curious about the other members HEA but this series will be more of a palate cleanser than a binge. There were also grammar errors. An entire line was repeated in chapter 3. Also using the word teenage to describe Sarah sexually was icky. Overall not bad.

Great intro to the characters. I love Reaper and Sarah. I have seen reviews talking about how Sarah is only 17 and trying to be with Reaper, And how that's just wrong. But the age of consent in Nevada is 16. So It's not a far off bet especially since the character is almost 18. And the man waits for her birthday. I mean , it could have been written completely different. This is a good first book into a wonderful series. Lots of grit, action and plenty to laugh at. Take the chance and give it a read. Trust me, You will quickly move on to the other books in the series.

Liked the start of this series. Some things were unanswered for me about Reaper and Sarah. A better background would have been nice to get.Super steamy.

Sarah has lived in the clubhouse for the past two years and since the beginning she has had a crush on the MC Prez, Reaper. He has the same feelings but does nothing about them until she turns 18 and is legal. They have many things that go against them being together, but it seems they can overcome anything.

I think this is my first book by this author. It was an easy read that kept my attention until the final page. Parts of it were gritty and pretty gruesome at times, and parts were really kind of sweet. I loved the characters and enjoyed the story. It stands alone, but parts of Sarah's background wasn't fully revealed? Like how she found the MC when she was 15 or 16? Perhaps that will come to light in another book? Anyway, there's bits and pieces that (I thought) were missing that I would like to know, but still a good book.

Sarah knew her feelings for Jesse from the moment she saw him, but she was only 16 what did she know???Jesse aka Reaper is 37 he's lived a life but the moment he sets he's eyes on Sarah he knows he shouldn't feel the way he does, he wants to protect her and do a whole lot more with her but he can't she's 16. So he shuts himself away twists himself up in knots while she teases n torments him daily for the next two years.18 that's what she needs to be legally be his.Her big day day arrives with a bang😉!Exciting stuff, great characters can't wait to read more

Omg poor Reaper having to look after yet another of hawks spawn yet this one Is more interested in getting into his pants yet the thought has crossed his mind as well yet Sarah is still a minor so Reaper is having a hard time trying to keep her safe and out of his bed so he doesn't end up in 6X6 Box.I'm loving the rest of the MC guys they are just hilarious I'm intrigued by Tongue yet Skirt has me cracking up "Jesus, he scares the hairs off me balls I tell ye." best line ever.Loved reading this book it was great to read a book that had such a strong connection between a big age gap couple.

To be honest I wasn't sure if I liked this read but it got better towards the end hence the 4 stars. Up until then the story was mediocre. The main characters are nice at best. Good sense of humor. I'll pick up the next book hoping it will be good throughout. Worth a shot.

This is the first book I've read by this author , and I have to say it won't be the last. I really enjoyed reading Reaper I love older men and I love reading about a hot Alpha man who is stubborn, brutal and takes no prisoners yet when it comes to the women they love they are a big soft marshmallow and Reaper is all that and more . I love how even though Sahra was young she was tough and had a mind of her own she didn't put up with Reapers crap but yet respected him enough to not push him to far in front of his men. I looking forward to reading more in this series.
