I am not a medical doctor, but my experimentation with use of Tea Tree Oil has been beneficial for me.
I have experimented with this product primarily for use in a diluted shampoo to learn how to control scalp eczema or other ailment of my hair oil ducts. Anyone else's ratios may vary. I first diluted Dr. Broomer Castile unscented, mild baby shampoo 2 oz. to 22 oz. filtered, boiled water in an empty, cleaned Joy dish liquid soap bottle. I then added 10 drops of this Tea Tree Oil per 4 oz. of diluted shampoo, or 60 drops. Not knowing if the oil separates or emulsifies, I shake the bottle vigorously before each use to insure that the oil is mixed before use. I just leaned over in the shower after completely rinsing my scalp with luke warm water, only, and pour the mix into the cup of one hand and apply with both hands and fingers gently rubbing it into my total scalp hair. Depending on how oily one's hair is, it may take a few applications to have an adequate lather, and then very thoroughly rinse in luke warm water, only taking special care all the while to not get any of the mix with Tea Tree Oil in one's eyes. In the process of using this mix procedure, my hair is more oily and soft and the scalp condition is well under control. Now, I sometimes just luke warm shower water rinse my scalp thoroughly instead of shampooing every other day. I have tried just rinsing more than two days, but the scalp irritation returns or my hair gets too oily. Often, I can run my finger tips through my entire scalp and not feel any sign of the previous uncontrolled condition.Since this procedure worked so well, I also experimented with using a Qtip to dab straight Tea Tree Oil to the surface of Mosaic Warts on my body, and have seen them dissolve after repeated applications after showering. I have also used the same application process on decades old black heads, and I have observed them seeming to dissolve and shrink in diameter. It is now my first choice to treat skin disorders.12/01/2016 - still using this effectively. I find it difficult to even spot the old blackheads. A skin clinic doctor told me that blackheads are caused by bacteria, and that the tea tree oil is an anti-bacterial, so that explains to me why the black heads have shrunk over time.My scalp is still better, but I have to use it daily in the shower, but without using any other shampoo or other soap on my scalp. If I would otherwise not take a shower every day, a thorough rinse of my scalp to hydrate it.

Wife loved it!!
My wife had never tried Tea Tree Oil for anything, but when I asked her if she wanted to review it she said she would give it a shot. She is still amazed at the diversity of this product. The Apothecary Extracts 100% pure Australian Tea Tree Oil is a highly concentrated product that has too many uses to count. Our favorites include mixing it to make natural vacuum powder, bathroom cleaner, skin irritant treatment, and making a natural mouth rinse. (It is important to know this isn’t a product that should be ingested.) I am looking forward to trying more uses this summer that includes soothing sunburns and as a washing machine freshener. I like to do this in the summer as I begin to hang clothes out again. While no one wants to think of the unpleasant things like warts, ticks, ringworm, and insect bites Tea Tree Oil can be a natural remedy for those who like the essential oils approach or are trying to get back to a more nature based lifestyle. This is a great addition to any essential oil collection or is great on its own.“I received free or discounted product in exchange for providing an unbiased review.”

Amazing results but needs patience!!!
So I bought this oil a couple of weeks back after reading about the miracle benefits of tea tree oil and good reviews of the Apothecary brand. Based on my experience with skin tags, the oil does work and is extremely effective but one needs to be patient. For the 1st 3 weeks I saw no progress and was feeling disheartened but miraculously in week 4, my skin tags started shrivelling up and finally fell off. It does take a fair amount of time and consistent application, as directed, to get results but it is definitely effective and way cheaper than a dermatologist visit. Another thing I observed is the skin gets a little darkened after applying the oil several times. However on the whole very satisfied and would recommend it!!

A little goes a very long way
Very little is needed for your needs. I use a drop of this in a 2-3 tbs of coconut oil to use as moisturizer for blemishes. Love the smell when used according to instructions

Happy customer for life
The quality of Apothecary Extracts' tea tree oil is excellent and I can grantee you won't find anything better than this. The old-fashioned bottle is very easy to use and it smells heaven. I also received a free recipe guide. It's good to know how to make use of tea tree oil in many ways but I feel a bit overwhelmed about following the recipes. It required me to purchase other ingredients. I prefer simplicity so I use it in my own ways instead of following recipes. Don't get me wrong. The free recipe guide is incredible but this well-made, quality oil alone is naturally active and effective so you can use it whatever ways that best suit your needs. I put a few drops in my shampoo and I notice my hair is much healthier; no split end, no dandruff, reduce hair loss. I add 8 drops and 3 spoonful of Epsom salt to relax muscles and detoxify. If I can't sleep I put a drop to a small cloth and leave it at a corner in my bedroom. The soothing and healing aroma puts me to sleep right away. I pour a drop into my fungi toe nail and it's now starting to heal. Couldn't ask for more.

HORRIBLE SMELL - not like normal tea tree oil.
There are a lot of good reviews for this product, but my experience was NOT GOOD.When I opened the bottle I knew something was wrong. There was a sticky residue under the outer plastic seal, that stuck to my fingers.Upon opening the bottle, a plug of sticky yellow congealed oil came off with the cap. it smelled bad. I poured a bit of the oil on a tissue to see if the rest of it was the same way, and it smelled horrible - like no tea tree oil I have ever smelled before. Clearly the bottle was not sealed properly. I don't know if that is why the oil smelled so bad, but after this experience I will not order this product again.
