Sunwee LED String Lights, Starry Star Waterproof Light String, Copper Wire Light (40pcs LED 14ft)

They are very cute and petite for my daughters nursery I will buy another strand. I thought they would be a little more lights in them but they are still very cute

These fairy lights are very pretty, they're like little beads on shiny silver wire. They come with a remote controller box and a remote control. They work on three AA batteries. There is a power button on the controller and you can set different flashing modes through the remote. It even allows you to dim or brighten the lights. I set them up in my office window and everyone in the office was exclaiming at how pretty they looked twinkling in the window.I was impressed as this was the first string of lights that came with the remote control. The controller box also seemed well made and fairly waterproof. If I had reviewed them yesterday I would have given them 5 stars, but what a difference a day makes!They stopped working after about 6 hours of being lit on one day. I changed batteries but it wasn't any good. Nothing seems to be wrong with the string maybe something shorted in the controller. Too bad, they were pretty while they lasted. Giving them the benefit of doubt and hope they can replace this faulty set.Update: Making rating 5 stars again, I figured out what the problem was and why they stopped working. I taped one end of the wire of the lights on to a metal desk in my office and it was grounding the lights somehow, so they stopped working. When I was about to take them off I first removed that side and they started working again!2nd update: This LED light string eats batteries, so I reduced rating by 1 star. 3 Duracell alkaline batteries lasted only 12 hours of LED display. That's not great as I've used other strings that are doing well after several days of being lit. Maybe I've just received a defective piece, but now the holiday is over so I am not going to bother to replace.[Received a free sample from the vendor for an unbiased review]

The lights are beautiful but you would need many strands shows in the photo.I put brand new batteries in and they lasted only a few days... I again put 4 new batteries in and these too only lasted a few days
