World Wide Live: 50th Band Anniversary

Love this album. Had it on cassette and CD growing up, I'm glad to have it on vinyl now. Bonus, came with a tour poster from the Love at First Sting tour. This sounds great and is exactly what I was expecting. The only negative is that recently when I receive albums from Amazon, the senders have been packaging them in bags, rather than cardboard and the corners are getting bent up during shipping. I think companies shipping vinyl should be more careful.

I don’t do these reviews.But I had to.I just watched the DVD.I went to the Oakland , CA Day on the Green 1985? with Scorpions etc and this is not on the DVD sadly, but I always wanted a DVD of that era wherever it was to bring me back to the incredible concert I saw with my 15 year old friends. I could not be more happy even though it was not from Day on the Green in Oakland. The whole Day on the Green should have been a multi DVD thing but ... Scorpions are so much more than just a rock group.It’s the most “emotional” concert of a group I’ve ever seen. You needed to be there to see but it was great and uplifting like you would wouldn’t k now,. They are side show comedians, they are actors, similar to a new “three rocking stooges” but more, they are acrobats like no musicians. Not Van Halen, not Metallica... sorry if you don’t see it but I’ve seen these bands and Metallica doesn’t physically come close to what Scorpions did.Scorpions can perform on stage and you wonder , how do they dance, jump, sing, do crazy running around and sound wow so incredibly great? It was so great in person that I wish I could see them once a year. So I have this DVD , CDAnd they looked like they had FUN. Thank you

What can I say? I wore this out on cassette back in the day. I love this live recording, and the high quality vinyl sounds great. The packaging bonuses are plenty with the CD, poster and lyrics. A real winner added to the collection.

Got it to get the DVD. Already owned a copy from prior versions. If you never had a copy, this is the copy to get... if you already had a copy, this really is about the DVD. The sound on a live show gains more from a remaster than the studio albums do (where what is gained in some clarity of some instruments comes at the expense of others). Of all the 50th anniversary releases, I think this is the smarted buy.

If you're a fan of the band and a fan of this album then the remastered Anniversary Edition is a must-have

80年代のノリノリだった頃のスコーピオンズのライブ。マティアスもバンドにマッチしてきており昇竜の勢いでツアーしていた頃の音源と映像楽しめた。70年代のウリ時代とは別の魅力がある。この後90年代にベルリンの壁崩壊の象徴的なウィンズオブチェンジの大ヒットやアコースティック時代もあり、通していいバンドだと思う

ずいぶん昔に生体験したライブ。最近の映像と比べて鮮明さは望めませんが、所有のビデオよりは音声も遥かにクリアです。まだまだ若い頃の激しいパフォーマンスを観て懐かしさに浸っています。
