Okay, I'll cut to the chase, I LOVE this thing. It does have a little bit of a plasticy smell to it, but it holds at least two full sets of dice (one of my sets is a bit bigger than normal and between the normal sized and the bigger one they fit snugly). There's very little bend when rolling it out, and the button clasps hold very well together. I love this scrolly-boi!Also the felt rolling mat area to roll on is a little bigger than a sheet of paper, so it's a good size!

This mat is gorgeous. The outside sheen is a little ...slick? Not quite a premium leather feel, but the inside suede is perfect. (EDIT: just bought a second one, and the leather finish actually feels great) The overall design is awesome, the Forged Dice logo is subtle and classy on the outside of the roll, and the construction is quite sturdy at first feel. The internal storage zipper pocket holds two standard polymer or metal sets of polyhedral dice easily, with a little extra room for a pencil, and I've found that the mat is a perfect size to roll up a few 8.5"x11" pages of character sheets and notes (assuming you don't mind a bit of scroll-like curl to your sheets when you unpack.) The mat is thick enough to save even my softest tabletops from dents and craters from my sharp-edge metal dice, but not so soft that it makes it hard to roll on, and the zipper pouch serves as a nice backstop for all but the most heavy-handed of dice rolls. All in all, a single one of these dice-tube-rolling-mats is a *great* minimalist travel set for a character's worth of supplies (minus minis, spellbooks/cards, slot trackers, extensive campaign notebooks, etc.)

I like this case alot, for the cost it is sturdy stylish and very useful, particularly if you have invested in some high-end resin dice that need a softer case and rolling surface.It is too soon for me to say weather it is durable over the but I will update this review if there are any notes there to add.If there is one aspect I do not care for it is the zipper that closes the scroll to hold the dice in. The very first time I closed the case it unzipped itself behind the zipper. I was able to rest the teeth easily but it's happened a few more times since too. Not a huge deal but I would prefer a better solution.As a recommendation I would like to see a double cylinder version of this product with a case on both ends so when you roll them together it resembles as the classic rolled up fantasy map or scroll. Plus you could then store a second set of dice or other useful table top tools.

This is excellent. Has exactly enough room in the pouch for two 7 dice sets of standard 16mm dice. I have a plastic set of dice and a metal set of dice in the zippered pouch/tube, so I have the choice for either weight I want to use. When the pad is unrolled, the pouch/tube can also be used as a dice ‘stop’ during rolls. It is soft and supple and easy to carry; while also having the right amount of weight that allows it to lay flat on the table, despite being rolled in the opposite direction when in the closed position. This is a very well made and handy item. Throw in a couple of sets of dice, roll it up and you’re good to go. Put it in the car, drop it in your backpack, or just carry it...it’s a secure means of carrying up to 14 standard RPG dice and a great pad for rolling your dice. Cuts down on noise, prevents the dice from rolling across the table, and protects both the dice and the table. I’m going to purchase another one in a different color. This is excellent.

It's cute, good for a favorite dice set, and made a great present to a DnD friend. It seems sturdy and the faux leather lends a sense of drama to our tabletop role-playing. It's also appreciated that they *didn't* come with a set of dice already; they only fit two full sets and the player I got it for already has favorite dice *and* a dice for each of her characters!

Once again, purchased for one of my sons for XMAS. He is into D&D (and other table-top games), and was asking for something to carry around his dice in. This works well as he has metal dice, and can roll them on the rolled-out surface without scratching up my wooden table. It also allows him to roll them up and take them to school for his table-top club.Quality-wise, as far as I can tell, it's super well-made. It is made out of leather (at least as far as I can tell), and the color matches the images spot-on. My son keeps talking about how awesome it is, and how well-made it is, so I can only judge the quality based on what he is telling me. But, he was super excited about getting it, and it wasn't like it was expensive, so I see that as a huge win!

but you have to stretch the zipper over a standard D20. it is a very tight fit. Over time the zipper will break.A standard D20 is one you would get out of a Magic the gathering starter box or in the Jar of D20s at your comic store. or the original D&D version 1.0 starter box.

Holds 14 plastic dice (2 sets) very nicely. It's nice material and well made. I dont have anything bad to day about it. Adventure dice here in Canada has some nice 'Coliseum Dice' that go with this product nicely imo.

Fits my dice nicely, also lots of room to add your own sheets in if you want. Leather straps/strings would feel more immersive, but the buttons on the scroll only add to its value. I would absolutely buy again.
