Had fun building this with my 7 and 5 year old boys! It was perfect for us as a group project and they love to build so it was great!

I bought this for my grandson to introduce and explore solar energy. At 5 I had to help him build this but it was perfect to explain the concept. Everything fits together well and provides multiple builds to keep interest fresh.If you're having trouble getting enough charge to make it work, I'd suggest making sure the panel is facing the direct sunlight.The design makes this perfect to explain alternate energy and how it works.

The parts don't fit together well. They either don't go together or fall apart easily. Good idea, just poorly executed. The value is ok though, the electrical parts can be used for other projects.

My 7 year old loved this toy. She managed to assemble it on her own by just watching videos on YouTube. Highly recommend it for 6-7+. Older kids might do it by following instructions only. I will be buying more as gifts as well!

Bought more then one. Was just as satisfying to the 11yr old girl as it was our 15 yr old boy. Went together like the modle kits I'd had as a kid. Had to disjoin all the parts from a plastic form then assemble as directed. Only the move when solar charged. Good s.t.e.m. gift.

Thought it would be a nice science toy but a big let down. The product is cheaply made and didn't work. Putting together was cumbersome and had issues with the photovoltaic not working. Cheap plastic bits that break easily and don't fit well.

Kids had loads of fun building this. Motor didn't work at first, but did second time.

The toy was easy to assemble. I bought a bunch of them as a birthday return gift.Kids could assemble with very little help and try by themselves.
