I have an allergy to dust and when I read the Levoit air purifier was one if the 20 best products purchased on Amazon I looked into it. I received the Air Purifier on the expected day. The following day I removed all the packaging and switched it on, It was that easy. I left it on the number 2 setting for an hour and then number 1. Straightaway I felt a difference in the air in the room. I am writing this as have had a much longer deeper sleep than I have had for a very long time and am able to breathe more deeply. I should say that I left the air purifier on all night. I first of all had the night light on the dimmer setting but found it emitted too much light for me, so turned it off. It would however be great for a child’s room. I want to thank you very much for this great product. Hopefully I will get years of use from it.The night mode helps a lot with less noise and no light as wellNext best part about this product is, it is quite easy to clean,and easy to carry from one room to another

They also advise the filter should be cleaned monthly using a vacuum cleanerFYI, Before starting the product, remove the screw cap, remove base, take out the filter which should be covered in a plastic bag, remove the bag and put back together.08/11/20 Unless there is an issue with the product, I will not update this review.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I live in an old, damp building and wondered if the air could be better, when waking up in the past my partner and I would both feel a bit stuffy but since we have had this little machine our sleep and mornings have been much better.Obviously it can not do a whole house in one go so put it in the room you want purified and close the windows and doors for best results. It is great for the winter, as if you would normally sleep with a window open to keep the air fresh this gives the same results.It has a few modes with the most useful for us being 'Sleep' which slows it down and reduces the noise so much it can be left on through the night. For day use it does have different 'Turbo' settings with the highest sounding quite powerful and good to use when you first turn it on to give it a boost. The light does make it look nice even though it doesn't really give any actual purification benefit, but having a good looking piece of equipment in a room is much better than an ugly one. You need to leave space around it as it sucks in air from all around so it does become part of your room when in use.It does have a changeable filter which is super simple to change from the bottom, it comes in a plastic bag inside so make sure you remove it before first use.I am looking forward to testing it when hayfever season returns as my partner has a slight dust and pollen allergy so this should make a massive improvement to her irritable eyes and breathing which effects her sleep... and more importantly mine ;)Nice design and easy to use, surprised what a good effect it has had and finding something that improves sleep is priceless for us.

The Tao Tronics Air Purifier seems to be a well made and a quality product. Unfortunately, the one that I received was obviously a "return". The seal on the box had been removed and the filter had been taken out of its plastic bag. I paid nearly £70 for a new Air Purifier, not for a second hand one. I am not sure if the fault is with Amazon or Tao Tronics. But, whoever is selling second hand goods that are described as new, is committing fraud. As the Air purifier is fairly large and weighs over a kilo, it would cost a small fortune to return it. Although I feel as if I have been cheated, to be fair, as I have stated previously it does appear to be a well made and quality product. Therefore, I will not be returning it. But something needs to be done to stop this type of "shady" selling.

We have been using an air purifier in our bedroom for some time now and agree it definitely makes a difference. For a while now we had been considering one for our living room but had decided it would need to be a bit more powerful as it will need to deal with a much larger area.I have a few bits of sound equipment from Taotronics and have been very happy with the quality and look so when I seen an air purifier by the same company I had a read and decided to give it a try.The parcel arrived and it was much bigger than I expected, but that's a good thing. It was so easy to setup and apart from removing the filter bag it was ready to use straight away. Plugged it in and was immediately impressed with the output and was sure it would be a good choice.On top are the touch controls for adjusting the fan speed or setting the light to a number of levels of brightness, and there is also a turbo speed which is handy at first but even on the highest setting it is fairly quiet, if you have it set to sleep function you can hardly hear a thing and the nightlight just sends a soft glow over the room.There is a filter replacement system that lets you know to change your filter which they reckon should be roughly every six months, but we'll see. The quality of the air in the room certainly appears to be fresher/cleaner so all good and hoping it continues.All in all a brilliant bit of kit and very pleased with our purchase so far, and hoping it continues.
