Others same products had reviews that were not to promising like broken, broke after a few tries even one came without a spider. This was great. Came in not damaged, outside gift box advertised a tarantula incubator with an egg on it. Opened as expected and even caught me off guard when it touched my finger while opening. Will buy again.

I have been buying prank gifts for my son every Christmas for years. This year’s prank was ruined because this is a cheap piece of garbage. I’ve seen these in person before, which is why I wanted to get one. First of all, when you open the box the spider doesn’t come out immediately. So anyone who opens the box has enough time to open it and look inside before it actually comes out. Fail. We tried to fix it ourselves by adding a shorter string so the spider would come out as soon as you open it and actually scare someone. In the process of tying the shorter string, it completely fell apart. I wasn’t rough with it at all. It’s just cheap garbage. Don’t waste your time or your money with this seller.

My son is really into pranks lately and I’m excited to have this for his Easter basket! I will say, you just have to make sure to kinda tuck the spider back down in the box by hand before closing the lid again. You can’t just close the lid and it’ll go back in smoothly. But it is very easy to get it back inside

Was enjoyed by 11 year old grandson for a short bit, but string broke. Should be more durable for the price.

This product was poorly made and doesn’t work well. Was hoping to give it was a gag gift but it wasn’t constructed well.

Worked exactly as intended. The fake label on the cardboard box looked reasonable enough, and had the unwitting recipient apprehensive even before sliding the cover open. I know there will be a revenge attempt made against me when I least expect it, so I must be prepared.Do yourself a quick favor, though. Test it yourself first. The very first time I tried it, there was some slight binding before the spider jumped properly, probably from sitting closed too long. After cycling the lid a couple of times, the jump action was much improved and 100% reliable.
