Bioluz MR16 Bi-Pin Bulbs Have Good Quality, Warmth and Brightness
Very happy with my Bioluz dimmable LEDs! As replacements for dimmable halogen track lighting in my kitchen, I wanted decent brightness and high quality/duration bulbs. They provide excellent brightness and warmth at 3000K (the Goldilocks temperature in the kitchen) and allow me to put more heads into the tracks due to lower wattage per fixture. Really good lighting on all the work surfaces now. These aren't perfect. They flicker a bit at low dimming levels using Lutron dimmers. They are slightly larger ("taller") than the halogen bi-pin bulbs they replace. However, the first batch has been in operation for almost four years with no replacements and no failures. I'll happily sacrifice some flicker at very low light for the cost of running their halogen peers. A good bulb by Bioluz and a worthwhile investment in energy savings and quality light! Obviously, you have to order

Great bulbs with outstanding clarity
I've worked with a lot of LED bulbs over the years, trying to make my lighting designs as energy efficient as possible. It can be very hit or miss with these bulbs. However, I am very pleased with these bulbs. Their color is bright and white... they definitely look good and do a great job showing things in their natural color. THeir temperature is 3000K, and it is accurate. 2700K bulbs have a little more yellow tint to them. But I like the bright white of these lights. HOWEVER, if you have regular bulbs in the room, or other light sources, there will be a noticeable difference in color. These lights are brighter and cleaner and white than most home lighting. (After all, a tremendous effort was put into making LED bulbs not have that blue-ish tinge that makes them look weird). These bulbs are also aesthetically pleasing -- they are a nice design and look good. My application has the bare bulbs exposed in a cable lighting system. I thought of using shades over the bulbs, but I like the look of just the bulb in the fixture. Finally, DIMMING... the bane of so many LEDs. These dim beautifully and have a wide range of lighting levels. Color temperature stays constant when dimming. Also, there is no flickering in these bulbs... they don't randomly do strange things by flickering like many bulbs do. There is a slight flicker when dimming, but minimal and acceptable. For reference, I have these installed in a Tech Lighting Kabel lighting system with an electronic transformer, connected to a Lutron wifi enabled dimmer.

Bright lights
We got these to brighten our room. Easier than replacing fixture. We got one light that blew out immediately. But rest were ok

Nice quality and very bright
Each bulb was well packed in an individual box and shipped in a compact carton of 10 bulbs. Everyone of the bulbs worked. None of the ten bulbs were defective. I installed all ten bulbs in recessed ceiling fixtures. Because these Bioluz bulbs have ribs around the bulb instead of the smooth glass of the halogen glass bulbs, they were a little tricky to install into the spring clamp that holds the bulb to the fixture. I was able to wrestle the bioluz lamp in place and by the tenth bulb, it was easy to do and they all fit fine and securely. The light from the bulb is cooler (whiter) than the halogens they replaced. I also thought the bioluz bulb was brighter. Still, I was happy with the result and loved the fact that I was spending a fraction of the energy cost after finally switching over to LEDs. I have almost all my fixtures on dimmer and yes, the bioluz bulbs dimmed and did not flicker at all from full brightness down to the lowest dimmed level. However, the lowest dimmed level of these bioluz bulbs are not as dim as the halogens. My wife complained that it was too bright at the lowest level and she wished the bulbs could go a bit lower. I agreed that the bulbs were not as dimmable, but I felt the low level dim was acceptable. I went with the Bioluz because after careful review, I felt that the quality would be better than some of the lest costly, off brands on the market. After these 10 bulbs, I felt I was correct and the higher price I paid was worth it. I am going to order twenty more bulbs to continue with my LED transition but I’m also going to experiment with a few cheaper bulbs to compare. (always searching for value) In closing, I don’t think you can go wrong with Bioluz. I recommend them.

Best MR16 LED I Have Found - Great Value - Here Are Photos
At roughly $5 each, these MR16 LEDs are an amazing value! I have compared these against 20 watt halogen bulbs, 50 watt halogen bulbs and Green Creative Titanium LED Series 4.0 LEDs. My contractor price at lighting unlimited is $16/each for Green Creative Titanium LED Series 4.0 (Green Creative 40759 - 7W - LED - MR16 - 3000K ). These $5 Bioluz MR16 LED have a better color tone and better spread than the Green Creative. The Green Creative is almost slightly white/pink where as the Bioluz is closer to a true white (not warm white). I am saving $100 per 10 lights and honestly think these Bioluz have the best look. I have attached a photo to show you the color and look. These photos are taken at night in a 30 x 30 room with 14' ceilings. The lights in the background are TCP LED8R20D27K Dimmable 8W Smooth R20 - 2700K R20 base bulbs in the 4" cans. I can also highly recommend the TCP 8W if you are looking for something just slightly brighter than a normal 45 watt incandescent in your R20 base fixtures.... You will see the 4" can lights in the background (The TCP LEDs) are more warm yellow. The Bioluz MR16s will be more of a white halogen look. Again. They are the best 50 watt equivalent MR16s I can find. I consider them to be better than a standard 50 watt halogen. Great value. In this one room, we are going from 11 lights x 50 watts (550 watts) to 11 lights x 7 watts (77 watts). I will post updates if the bulbs burn out or I have problems. I've spent hours swapping and comparing lights so please click the link below if this review helps you save time or money.

Finally some LED MR16s working with my WAC JHT-809
These LED MR16s finally work with our WAC JHT-809 track lighting heads we have had for 10+ years. We have 12 of them and at $40/head I was looking for some LEDs that put enough load on the transformer for the transformer to actually work. The latest version of the JHT-809 claims to need only 1W but I am sure our old ones have a higher load requirement. All the LED MR16s we tried over the years - and we did try 6 or 7 different manufacturers/models so far - did not light up at all when installed in the track heads. These do light up and can be dimmed reasonably well on top of it. They also fit into the track head - another problem we had with some of the models we tried. You have to leave the glass off but the retainer clip fits on top of these. The light produced by the LEDs is OK. There are some noticeable blue spots in the light projected onto a white wall but we can live with that. Only replaced three so far and letting them "soak" but ordered the larger set with 10 to be prepared for switching out the rest of the lights. Will update here if something changes.

Good bulbs. Watch for fixtures not made for LEDs
Update 1/2026 Bulb blinking issue caused by recessed can light (Juno brand) not having transformer compatible with LED. Bulb rating upgraded to 5 stars. Original review: Great simple bulbs. I replaced halogen versions in 18 fixtures in kitchen and living room. Used daily. 5 on a circuit with dim switch slider. All work great. Happy with color and brightness. But now have had 6 of 18 go to slow blink on/off (on 1 second, off 6 seconds) Purchased and installed February 2022. Started having fallout 1 year later. Replaced a few. Now 1.75 years in service, I have three now all blinking and going out. I was expecting longer life.

BIoluz, make your bulbs dimmable from full bright to down low like you advertise...
Color and beam pattern were A-OK. Dimming is not smooth nor consistent from lowest to full bright with a Lutron Maestro dimmer. I have some older LED MR16 bulbs mixed in on the track lighting. The Bioluz are slower to turn on and do not dim as well as my older HyperIkon bulbs from 2016. In another fixture that used to have Halogen MR16, at full brightness, they make the transformers resonate loudly. On the bright side, there is a whole lot less heat, but the noise and lack of smooth dimming get two thumbs down.
