Handheld Adjustable Extension Rod Mount for Gimbal 29” Selfie Stick Pole Handle Compatible with Osmo Pocket 3/Osmo Mobile 5/OS4 Osmo 3 Osmo2/1 Smooth 5 Smooth 4 Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer

So I bought this rod as an extension for my Smooth 4 gimbal. Is a couple of inches longer than the carbon fiber rod I bought last year. The advantage is this one is that is completely collapsible to a little bit more than 7 inches, the carbon fiber rod is not. I can carry this rod in my pants pockets and extend it when necessary. I was afraid that it couldn’t hold the weight of the gimbal but I was able to handle it without any issues. Only thing I don’t like is that if you are not careful you can pinch your fingers when collapsing the rod, it already happened to me twice. Otherwise excellent rod for the price.

I’ve had this for about a week now and used it with a number of cameras, including a GoPro Hero 8, Osmo Pocket and a Insta 360 One R.I’ve had similar extension rods from other companies including the Insta 360 brand and I’ve generally had issues with the extensions locking properly. With my previous model it was basically impossible to use effectively as it was periodically fall back down in the middle of videos or time lapses and ruining them.This one is great. The extensions lock solidly and I haven’t had any issues at all. It’s nicely made, good solid build for the price. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a selfie or extension rod for any type of smaller camera. It even works well with the osmo mobile and an iPhone. I do wish it were an extension or two longer but that’s nitpicking.I’ve bought a number of products from this company and not been disappointed. A

This product is great in my opinion. I use it for my iPhone 11 Pro and it works fine. There are some problems with the product, such as connecting it to my Bluetooth, and when it does connect it often disconnects. Other than that, I think the product is not that bad.

The smooth material they use for their handle makes holding this a breeze. When it is extended I feel safe because of the material used! I like to extend it before I put my camera at the end of it because you twist to extend it!

Like the product and easy to handle.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The initial impression upon receiving this item arriving was how small the packaging was - just an unimpressive white cardboard box measuring eight inches long by not much more than one inch square. However once the stick was removed I was won over. It feels solid and weighs in at a fraction under six ounces. It is made of a non ferrous black powder painted metal with white plastic inserts. It has a feeling of quality. The tripod threads (male top, female bottom) appear strong. The one inch wide, large lower section of the stick has a rubberised surface making it easy to hold. An easy quick twist of the top section enables the user to extend the stick up to 735 mm although it can be locked at any intermediate length as required. I used the stick with a ZHiYUN Smooth 4 and an iPhone 11+. It took the weight well with hardly detectable flexing when fully extended. This stick enables you to shoot smooth video in places that otherwise would be hard to reach, I was easily able to make an inspection film of the roof and the underneath of my coachbuilt motorhome whilst standing at ground level. I was also able easily film a bugs eye view skimming along the surface of our local canal just a few mm above the water surface. I could see into bird's nest 10 feet above the ground. I am sure it would also be ideal for shooting above crowds of people although I have not yet tried that. The only difficulty was seeing what it was the iPhone was actually recording. I solved that problem by getting the iPhone to transmit its video to my watch face in real time. Because of the combined weight of the stick, gimbal and phone the device is best suited for shooting short segments of video as it can become a little tiring on the hand otherwise. A great addition to my kit.

Have used a couple of times as an extension for a DJI osmo 2 worked faultlessly, not sure it would stand up to prolonged use like this though without bending the poles.

Well made product to be used with my Hohem mobile stabilizer.

But 2 things.1: the handle had no rubber or something and a bit slippy2: the 2nd images showing a tripod part but it's not part of the deal and the description is describing properly just a bit misled me.

Great sturdy handle and can hold the weight of a Dji osmo mobile, however the system for folding and closing the extension away is challenging and the end came undone, we had to fix it with tape as the thread wasn't sturdy! However would recommend as a mid range product.
