Frustrated buyer of multiple orders
I was happy with the product at first as I covered seams on a handful of beams in my living room but just over a month later they are all splitting and tearing. An expensive waste of money. Will try and contact the manufacturer and see what they say.Edit/Follow upI’ve sent NUMEROUS emails to the company with ZERO responses. This tells me they A)know this product is JUNK B)don’t care this product is JUNK C)don’t care at all about anything similar to good customer service and D)will continue to sell junk without any consequences. Awful experience with an awful product. Thanks Ekeena Millwork

Cracking straps!
Arrived in box a bit twisted- it’s very heavy, thick rubber- stiff is an understatement. Was tough to install around corners of the beam. With tacks and adhesive managed to get a good fit. We were very happy with the look. Unfortunately a week later we noticed the strap was cracking at every bend - a few were completely broken! See photos. Our beams are 20 feet off the ground and glued on so not sure what we are going to do. Patch maybe?? So high marks on appearance- they look real- fail on durability. I might add there were NO installation instructions. I think the manufacturer should have recommendations on how and what to use.

Perfect Solution For Beam-splicing !!!
This is a perfect alternative for real metal straps. The strap was thick and a little hard to bend to a right angle, but by cutting out a shallow “V” on the backside, I was able to miter-fold it.Using the proper polyurethane adhesive in a 3-step gluing/clamping, it will be there forever. A small bead of glue showed on one side, but I touched it up with a black Sharpie and it blended perfectly.I’ve had many friend look at it and ask who did my metalwork. They were surprised when I told them the truth.Absolutely satisfied with this item.

Nice quality
Very sturdy material have not applied it to my beams yet but it’s seems very heavy duty

Gotta love it.
This product is much more expensive from the faux beam places. Worked like a charm though. I tried to heat it up so it would bend a little bit better, but it started to crack. Used several finish nails to tack it to the beam I built and cover the seam.

To thick to wrap the beams left hug gaps
To thick does not wrap around the beams doesn't look real.... will go back to other supplier that makes them look like hammered and thinner looks more realistic
