I finally had the opportunity to use this Headlamp while camping last night. It started out ok-bright steady light when needed. Then, while walking in the dark in an unfamiliar setting, it started flickering wildly. I had to turn it off and walk by moonlight. When I got back to my campsite, I opened it and checked the battery connection-it seemed ok. These were new unused batteries, so I was surprised when the light was not true. After I checked it, it seemed to flicker less-but I wasn't walking around either. Also, It didn't seem as bright afterwards. I will be buying more batteries and trying it out again. If it doesn't help, I will buy another headlamp for camping and keep this one for in house use only.

I was very excited to get the headlight and unwrapped the box as soon as I got it. Below is my opinion after two nights of long(ish) runs.Pros:This is pobably the lightest headlamp I've ever put on my head.The adjutable lamp angle is a great feature. I had read a review that the lamp broke on the hinges from adjusting the angle, so I kept changing the lamp angle throughout the run and didn't notice any problems. Unfortunately this is where my "pros" list ends.Cons:The lamp is more of a spotlight and not a wide beam, if you want to use it to brighen your run or walk or hike path you will be disappointed because of the narrow beam.This is probably nit-picky but I absolutely hated having to put the headband in, maybe I've been spoiled by other lamps that come with the band already in place.I'll update the review after I use this some more. I received your package yesterday. It took a little longer because I am in Cota Rica.I'm very well impressed by the quality of this head lamp. It looks you chose a good OEM in China for the manufacturing of this product. It is as described, very light weight. I like this feature very much. I bought five pieces for me and my four children. We are planning on a trip to a National Park here in Costa Rica and are going to climb the tallest mountain in the country, starting from 5,000 feet and going up to 12,000 feet. Is a challenge and all groups start walking around two in the morning, That is why we need the head lamps.Going back to your product, the adjusting head band is remarkably good quality. It looks great and it stretches with just the right strength to hold the lamp in place. It does not seem to hurt or anything when you have it on.The lamp itself is good quality. Bright and with three levels of intensity. We will see how it performs out in the field. I like the red emergency feature. It is mainly made of different types of plastic materials that contribute a lot to the light wight. Never the less, it looks sturdy enough to perform as expected.I am happy with this purchase so far and I will report again after we come back from our journey by mid May.

This headlamp worked great for the first month I had it but then the small plastic hook broke off when I was running, so now the light is no longer attached to the band. For something I only used a few times a week, I am disappointed that it broke this soon. Unfortunately, it broke after the 30 days I bought it so I am unable to get a refund.

I've used the headlamp once and it works well. I use it for running.The only criticism is the weight - 3 AAA batteries feels a bit heavyon my head, but after a while I got used to it. I guess I noticedbecause before I used one with 2 AA batteries but it stopped workingafter a couple of runs so there you go. Yours is very comfortable andthe light strength is great. Thank you for the product. Veryreasonable price and worth it.

I bought this headlamp as something to use while running at night and also to use on camping trips. Recently, I had a situation where I lost all the power to my house. Since ours was the only house on the block that was dark, I knew it was time to check the breaker box, but I was home alone and had no one to hold the flashlight while I tried to figure out what was wrong. It was at this moment that I remembered that I had just received this headlamp that I'd purchased from Amazon. I put it on and was able to work handsfree and quickly figure out and fix the problem. That single use alone more than justified the purchase of this headlamp. It has 3 modes and even a strobe feature. I think it's an important item to have on hand for emergencies and I can't wait until it gets warmer, so I can wear it on one of my nightly jogs around the neighborhood.

After reading the reviewsI purchased two of the headlamps, one for myself and one for my wife. I originally purchased them to use for walking in the very early morning or after dark. Then soon after they arrived our lights went out and were off for the next 18 hours, so immediately they were put into service for reading and navigating through our home. We both love them and after receiving them I can think of many other ways they will not only come in handy but by freeing up your hands they will be more useful than a flashlight in many situations. They are lightweight and I like that you are also able to adjust the brightness of the light. I also like the emergency flashing feature and can see how this could be a wonderful safety feature for a hiker or camper. I plan to get these for my grandkids and I am sure they will love them also.
