UPDATE: Never got the sample pack we were promised after customer service reached out to us. Oh well!UPDATE: We were big fans of the super tasty, tender jerky, by Grass Run Farms but was put off by the mold we found in 1 of the 6 packs we purchased. They proactively reached out to us to find out more why we had submitted for a refund. They ensured that the remaining packs we had left were likely fine. They even offered to make things right by sending me a sample of the flavor we were't able to try because we had returned all our remaining packs for a refund. Excellent customer service! Will likely order again and chalk the mold as a one-off.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The beef jerky was super tender and tasty. We chowed down the teriyaki and sweet spicy flavors. However, we found white furry mold when we went to open up our 3rd pack of 6. Makes me not trust the remaining 4 packs we have left.

The spicy and teriyaki flavors are nice, but the 'original' flavor is quite bland and not even 'beefy' tasting. They need to do a better job trimming and prepping the meat as there are some tough gristly, unchewable, bits mixed in. It okay but I won't be ordering it again.

Things I like about this beef jerky:-Favorite flavors: Sweet and Spicey is Le Sex (lot of spicey bite and plenty of sugar to make you crave more), followed by Original (also great) and Teriyaki (nothing special, very mellow flavor)-The meat is exceptionally soft and moist which I MUCH prefer to super dry, tough jerky that you takes a lot of time to chew through.-Very simple, basic ingredients like brown sugar, soy sauce, black pepper. I LOVE that they don't put a ton of chemicals or artificial flavorings into it. A+ to Grass Run Farms for using grass fed beef. You guys are American heroes.-This jerky is really quite sweet. It's more like eating candy than your traditional beef jerky. I had planned to eat each bag over the course of two days and I inevitably ate each bag all at once cause I couldn't stop. If you don't like your beef jerky sweet, Grass Run Farms also sells beef jerky sticks that don't have any sugar at all and are also great. Those are literally just like beef and salt.In summary, I will probably buy this beef again, and I will struggle once again not to eat it all in one sitting.

Too soft, too sweet. And I like soft beef jerky, that's why I decided to give this a try. More like beef mush candy than beef jerky. Yuck.

If I had to describe this jerry in one word I would say it's awesome.

Its tender, juicy and so easy to chew. This is easily some of the best jerky I have had since Alien fresh jerky. I eat these with a good handful of of walnuts, pecans, almonds and dried fruit... amazing.

Jerky was very fatty.

Absolutely delicious. I eat a lot of jerky, and this is my new favorite. Lots of flavor, great chewy (but never tough) texture, and none of that processed nastiness since it's grass-fed meat.
