3D Printing Logbook: Learn from 3D Printing Failures and Ensure Continuous Improvement in Print Quality, Maintenance and Speed through Systematic Record Keeping (Artificial Intelligence for Beginners)

First off, I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review of it. I do my best to write the same review I would if I'd paid my own money for the product, so keep that in mind when reading.Ok, so I just received my first 3d printer about two months ago, and it's been running almost nonstop since then. There were many times when I'd have a failed print for one reason or another. When I was approached by the author of this book to read it, I jumped at the chance. This book is an excellent arrangement of forms you can fill out when you do have a failure, perform maintenance, etc. One thing I would have liked to see included was a section for 'ideal' or 'perfect', or just successful prints, so that you have something to compare the failures to.Another thing I found a bit lacking is that because I'm a newbie when it comes to 3d printing, I don't always know exactly why a print failed. A print might just 'not look right'. I have no idea how to document that.Other than those two minor issues, this is a really nice book. A spiral-bound version would be incredibly useful, making it easier to move back and forth between pages or sections. Maybe that format will come out in the future.

I am very interested in 3d printing and this book was really cool with great information. I used to have access to a 3D printer but maybe when we go back to school. Either way, this is a great book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a very simple book. I love how easy it is to get the information written down in a format that is easy to reference later. This makes it easier to me to reference the tweaks I have made to a build and the outcomes. Definitely good for starting out.
