Not sure why people are complaining
These rods are perfect. No instructions but it is super simple to figure out. Make sure the brackets are printing inward towards the center of the door. Took a few minutes to install. Drill pilot holes first for ease of getting the screws in. This is really sturdy. It is worth $20. I purchased cheaper and smaller rods for this purpose and they were too flimsy, so back they go. For reference, my door is 36 inch and full window panes.

Perfect solution for hanging curtains on a French door
Perfect solution for hanging curtains on a French door. No issues with hardware that others mentioned, so maybe I have a lighter touch during installation. I did pre-drill the screw holes just a bit to make sure everything was lined up. When installed, they are very low profile (close to door and window) so they work great for insulating the cold air/draft from the glass on the doors and also don't bump into each other when opening the door almost 180 degrees. They are exactly what I wanted and needed for adding privacy to the large glass double-door.

Works well, but no instructions
These seem sturdy and were pretty easy to install - once we figured it out. There were no instructions in or on the packaging. Still haven't figured out what the plastic pieces are for, but they are working anyway.

Easy way to hang curtain panel on door sidelight...
Nice quality, well made. The sun can be quite intense through the side light of the front door. This is just what I needed to not go blind. However, after all the complaints about the screws breaking off, I just used my own rather than take the chance.

Well made and easy to install
Some said the screws were breaking.?We pre drilled them and they were fine. They also came with these plastic pieces in the bag. They are to add to the rods for no snags. No instructions so some may not know that. We are very happy with them and no surprise since they are from Kirsch

It works. Sharp edges
I bought these curtain rods up to 28 in for my 24 in Windows on my French doors. Froze. Very sturdy and a pretty thick gauge steel. It does take effort if you really want to bend them but they are much better than the cheap ones you can find at Walmart. The hardware brackets are very sturdy too. I noticed in some of the questionnaires people were asking what the little plastic ring was for you put that in the Middle where the two pieces connect and slide to prevent snagging of materials on your drapes. Cons. I would recommend getting a small fine tooth file to shave off some of the sharp edges. Whoever cuts at the factory uses a very dull blade because there's a lot of Spurs left over on the metal. So watch your fingers! Although the hardware brackets are sturdy the screws or not. I know I can twist off the lid of a pickle jar with my bare hands but when I was pre-drilling the holes and then used a hand screwdriver to put the screws in, the heads of the screws bent or Twisted off. I ended up using my own cruise from home which were of a better, USA, quality. For the most part I would give it a three or four out of five stars. There are only two in the Box I thought I had purchased enough but apparently I was short. I would purchase again only to make it match what I have
