Good Value for This Quality Battery
This battery AC Doctor INC Generic OEM New 9 Cells 7800mAh Laptop Battery for Dell Inspiron 6000 9300 9400 D5318 310-6321 US has been working much better than a previous replacement battery I purchased for my old Dell Inspiron E1705 / 9400. It lasts about +/- 2 hours and charges in a reasonable amount of time. And I have seen the OEM version of this battery selling for 8X (yes, 8 times) more than the price this is selling. Even the original battery only lasted about 2 hours, so just based on that design I cannot rate it 5 stars, but I am very happy with this battery.

Flakey and not what it claims to be - updated
I bought this for a friend's Dell Precision M6300.The old battery's voltage had dropped to about 8.5 and would not support the PC running at all.The PC's power adapter is normally always connected and plugged in.The PC crashes immediately on removing the adapter power. The first new battery I bought on A*ZN was totally defective and was refunded. The PC said it could not identify the battery and would not charge it and said it was overheated. So, I bought this one from another seller. The specs were a bit different so I hoped it would be by a different manufacturer but it seems like it is probably the same one.I use a CPUID HWMonitor program to display a computer's hardware status including battery information. The charge levels agree with what the PC reports in its battery status.I will attach a couple photos. When first installed, the 2nd battery says its design capacity is 73260 mWh, full charge capacity is 68198 mWh, and 7% wear already (that is the different between the design and full capacity numbers). It was about 70% charged when I installed it.Instructions said to first run it down to 2% and then fully charge it.I watched it slowly run down but it fell off extremely fast below 50% (like just a few minutes) and the PC went critical and hibernated. I had stepped away for a very short time at 50%.When I restarted it, BIOS warned me the battery was critical and I had to acknowledge that to proceed. The reported charge level was 2% at that point.Funny, it then charged up to 73260 mWh and said it was 107% charged with 7% wear level.Fully charged says about 12.6 volts. It was about 10.5 volts at the 2% charge level.I ran it down again watching it all the way this time.It took it at least 1.5 hours to get down to 20% but shortly after that the PC suddenly went into hibernation again without any warning. This time I could not reboot without connecting the power adapter. Once I did, the battery was reporting 3% charge level. Something weird must be happening at lower charge levels. It defies reason that a battery could actually drop from 50% to 2% or 20% to 3% almost instantly. It claims to be a 7800 mAH battery at 11.1 volts. However, 73260/11.1 is 6600 mAH so 7800 is a lie.It is really a 6600 mAH battery. I see one listed by BAVVO that has those specs that are apparently honest.Since this PC is almost always plugged in, I am just going to monitor it for a while. It may be that good cheaper batteries are not obtainable.I would say "your mileage will likely vary a LOT".UPDATE:The seller reached out to me with an offer to refund or replace the battery.I said I did not want to spend any more time on this problem since the battery seemed to workwell enough at higher charge levels and the PC is normally plugged in.They refunded me 40%. So, I would say their customer service that way is good but they did notaddress my complaint to them that their description is not what battery says it is.

Decent replacement
Had a little trouble getting the battery to fit in the first few attempts but I took special care to make sure the pins lined up and then it fit. Maybe the casing is slightly larger than the original (?) but it seems to be fine now.

It doesn't keep its charge.
At delivery date, the battery only registered 99% at complete charge. Today, after about two weeks in use it's only registering 97% charge. I have a feeling soon it will continue to drop.
