Windows 10 recognized this card automatically. The included drivers were needed for Windows 7 and worked flawlessly. No effort at all; installed card, installed driver (Win7 only) and the USB ports worked. I transferred data to and from a Toshiba external USB drive that was several years old and got 90 - 100Mbps. It's not 10Gbps but the system is old (no USB 3.0 ports at all) and, as I mentioned I was using a dated USB drive so I can't verify if it truly supports X Gbps.

Not sure why it didn't work for me so I'm returning it. I have a very fast USB-C drive and it was super slow on this card and I got 0x8007045d errors any time I tried to copy anything large, so returning it. The connectors are pretty close to the edge, but was able to plug in the cables completely. I tried re-seating the card 4 time in the x16 slot and got pretty much the same results every time. Very odd.

Not getting the 10Gps speed shown. Even with all drivers installed and powered. I can only get 440 Mbs when I know I get 860 Mbs on my Mac with my M.2 moble drive.other then that it works, but only seeing standard 3.0 speeds.useless for me.
