I love my LG OLED C8, it's a wonderful TV. On the other hand, I hate the so-called 'Magic' remote which comes with it. It is a horrible, clunky over-engineered mess with an annoying pointer that can't be turned off. As if that isn't bad enough, it doesn't even have buttons for media controls. Given the frequency of using catch-up services or an attached HDD to control (ie pause, play, forward, rewind etc) it is unforgivable that such functionality is not included.Fortunately this replacement remote is everything the native one is not. Simple, compact and useful. I could not commend it more highly. It replicates all the features of the original with the exception of voice input - no loss, as it is hardly ever actually useful.

It worked straight away without having to pair it to the tv

Works perfectly on my LG smart TV. Actually better than the original controller although the netflix and amazon butting don't work but this is not an issue as can be accessed by the menu. Overall happy with this

Nice and light

Poor quality, batteries pop out even with back on, tied tape round to hold them in better but you still have to hold the batteries down, the children can’t change channel, awful having to buy another one from elsewhere, don’t waste your money.

Not precise enough. Works intermittently.

Bought these as stand ins for the remote a ferret kept hiding.Before anyone complains they never chew on them, just hide them under the sofa.
