Single Channel Adjustable Pipettor, Micropipette 2-20μL

I have an aquarium. I test the water. It used to be a pain to get 10ml of water in the tube to test. Dip the tube in, look at the level, dip again for more water or tip a bit out. The tube, and hand, was wet. This thing is wonderful. Dip it in the water, press and release the button, put the tip in the tube, press the button again. 10ml in the tube. Can I do without this, yes. Does it make my life wonderful with butterflies coming out my but, no. Does this make a not very enjoyable thing I have to do a little better, yes. A lot of "laboratory" things can be used outside the laboratory and make lots of things easier. I have a laboratory thing designed to shake bottles that I use to shake my water testing tubes. It has a window showing how much it will move. Turn the button top to change this. These come in all sorts of different sizes. The one I have does up to 20ml. You can set it by tenths of a ml. You can also make tiny adjustments do if you set it to 10 and it is doing 10.1 you can adjust so that it is doing 10. I find that I turn the button on top when using it, so I have to check that the window still says 10 occasionally. They could, easy for me to say, do something different to make it harder to change the amount by accident.

The volume display is clear, adjustment is smooth, and it dispenses accurately across the 100-1000 range. Autoclavable, and the plunger action is light enough for repeated use. A fraction of the price of the lab-brand equivalent.

Unfortunately I don't have a scale that reads to three decimal places, so I can't quantify the repeatability by mass. That said, there appeared to be repeatability in drop size at different settings in the 0.5 to 10 uL range. I bought it to spot TLC plates, and it certainly works well for that.

An easy introduction to using pipettes and a pipettor. Simple to operate and change the desired amount to be drawn up. I am not sure of the accuracy without additional testing but, there is a learning curve to using the pipettor for best results and the correct size tip is vital. The draw up and release buttons are easy to operate with one hand and the ergonomics make use comfortable. The pipettor is all plastic but feels substantial and durable.

Does what it says on the tin. It extracts, moves, and inserts measured quantities of liquid wherever you'd like. At this price I would not trust the numbers to be precise for academic research if you need your pipettes to be ultra-precise for published research or healthcare assays or medication dosing but if you are doing molecular bio and numbers don't have to be perfect then this is a fantastic deal. I use these for my home lab so I don't get in trouble using company equipment for personal use. They work great. I love them! Never had a problem?

Nice and accurate. I use this for my reef tank. Far better than 10 cent syringes. As others have noted- don’t push all the way down. Slowly apply pressure until you feel a soft “stop”, then slowly release- never let it spring back. The second full stop is unmeasured and just for pushing any remnants out. One thing that would have been nice is if they included multiple tips. Can’t really use just one for everything.

Very bad product, I almost killed my entire plant collection coz of mismatch of the showing quantity. I chose 1ml dose and it appears 3~4ml, which is not accurate!!!

This is the first pipette I've ever owned, and it's been a time saver. Instead of measuring things out by teaspoons etc, or figuring out math by drops, I just set this baby to my desired amount. It's spot on with the settings, and is accurate to the 'T'.

No tiene ni dos meses que la compre y ya dejó de funcionar. Solo la use 5 veces para medir un volumen de agua y dejo de funcionar ....

شكرا good

Works very well just don't release the thumb plunger to quickly or it'll shoot up into the neck. A slow release and it's spot on every time and exact measurement.
