Ignore reviews this is the best easiest durable set with so many straps and helpful things.I am a 38-year-old single mom and I have this installed in 30 minutes I seen so many complaints about they had to cut those that didn’t fit the straps or two whatever well then you’re doing something wrong because this was so very easy if you have even a little bit of commonsense about installing anything I’m no mechanic or hardware specialist I just followed the directions and it was quite simple they lasted all your beautifully did not tear any of the padding which is what I was worried about the teeth held together very very well and do not slip at all they are extremely durable very adjustable I am very Happy with them I actually just took them up for winter and it took me under 15 minutes to takeoff for five and I had to climb up in the rain and my armrest. The best part is the straps and the gear and all that stuff that came with it for your kayaks to be strapped in like this is everything you need you’re ready to go everyone says all the straps don’t fit then you’re doing something wrong my seven-year-old climbs up there and helps me strap them in and me and him do from start to finish to finish together and I have an 8 foot tall van just use a little step ladder to get those kayaks up in that rack

Covered in large white logos, bright orange straps, wrong instructions for what shipped. Unfortunately need it for this weekend so can't return but had specifically chosen this version for the fact that it was logo free and subtle. Will at minimum need new straps and probably a way to deal with the garish logos. Disappointed.

This product failed for two reasons:Number one-the hardware is rusting, leaving rust stains on my car finish.Number two-Does not mount properly onto flat crossbars on roof rack.It’s too bad, this product would have achieved a five star rating if they used better quality nuts and bolts and if the manufacturer supplied a simple plastic bushing to allow the clamp to fit the flat crossbars. I managed to mount by creating shims that I cut from a small piece of rubber heater hose. It turned what should have been a 10 minute installation into a project, but it came out OK.However, after just a couple of days it started dripping rust on my car. Unacceptable. It’s not just that the rack will rust but this will promote corrosion on my car itself. I’m returning and ordering another rack using stainless steel tubing. I hope the new rack will use stainless nuts and bolts as well.I would’ve preferred something made with aluminum or stainless that is painted all black. Looks better in black. Unfortunately, the only all black kayak racks seem to be made out of regular steel. This is an opportunity for a manufacturer in what appears to be a pretty competitive market.

The rubber gaskets that are put on when connecting to the crossbar are crap! We went on a long family trip with them on top of our SUV and didn't make it very far before they J-bars started slipping on the crossbar. We had to strap them with extra straps to hold them until we got to our destination (5 hours away). Needless to say, we had to stop frequently to make sure they were still holding. We will see if we can buy something different to use for the rubber gaskets that will work better. When we did make it to our destination, one gasket was completely gone and the other three J-bar gaskets were torn into pieces...no saving them. I like the J-bars overall, just not the components in came with.

We are using this system to mount two kayaks on our pop up camper. The system is good quality and easy to install. It comes with all hardware, straps, etc. for standard mounting. We have used it for two trips and put about 400 miles on with kayaks installed with no issues.

Overall, these are not the best. I like the collapsibility option but that’s about it. The foam came with a large white logo which does not show in the selling information and the knobs cracked when putting them on. Bolts were way too long. There is no way to contact this seller via the Amazon app and Amazon is not accepting calls. I really need to get ahold of this company but do not know how. Extremely disappointed

So far they work great. I had no issues mounting them, went on with no problems. I have had one trip so far with 2 kayaks and there was very little wind noise and after a 3 hour drive, they were still secure and stable. I also love the fact that they fold down so that I dont have to remove them after every trip. Although I may remove them come winter.Over all, for the price, these I feel are a phenomenal deal. I am really happy with them..

This company delivered this product fast. It is just what we needed. Great product
