After waiting 5 weeks for the product to be shipped (the company told me afterward that the machines have to be calibrated individually), I called a plumber to install it, since it was an under sink model and I didn't want to tackle removing faucets, etc. The cold water connector had been left out of the package. I called. Another 2 week wait for the part to arrive. The plumber returned but the connector to the unit (MCU cable) did not have the correct connections. I called the company again, and insisted on help. (Evidently they had sent the "old" connection kit previously and the update one was sent). Plumber came again. The faucet did not work and was missing filter indicator on top. If the quality control just to send out the unit is so poor, what is the quality of the unit? We still don't have it running to find out. I purchased a competitor unit for our cabin in CO (the Alkalife 7000) and had it up and running in one day. It was simple and runs like a top. Also, the ability to adjust the alkalinity of the water is a feature I have used continually. One of the first things we noticed was the improved taste of the water, over both the tap water, and the other filtered water we were using. We use it to make tea, coffee and to cook with, and everything tastes much better. The technology has worked beautifully without any problems. As a holistic health consultant I wanted the best water for my family and to recommend to my clients.
