Bloc De Foie Gras De Canard 150g Fattened Duck Liver Duck Foie Gras

I had never had Foie Gras before. I ordered this for the holidays. I was wonderful. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Melts in your mouth.

It is a cheat. When we opened the cans we did not find a block as labeled but a mousse. Shame for such a reputed company to cheat its customers. I was born next to Auch so believe me I know the difference

This is for foie gras connoisseurs , outstanding flavor , composition, highly reccomended

The label "Bloc de Foie Gras" is somewhat of a misnomer because it is not made of pieces of unprocessed foie gras, without any additions or processing. This item is more like a "Terrine" of Duck Foie Gras, although its flavor is fine. If you are really a connoisseur, you should look for a label that reads "FOIE GRAS", no other mention.Being a long time dual resident of France, I have processed/cooked dozens of whole foie gras whenever I was in Paris. A whole foie prepared mi-cuit is a completely different experience.

Enjoyed the product. Surprisingly, I thought it tasted even better than the goose foie gras.
