I was skeptical after seeing a metal solid bar making claims to wash the hands of any of those awful cooking scents that take days to go away. No longer a skeptic here. Wow--Almost immediately after using, the smell is gone. I rub this in my hands under water like a normal bar of soap for 30 seconds and follow up with regular hand soap. Poof its gone!I cook regularly and have wanted a way for years to remove the garlic smell from my hands that lingers for days. I've found it! Bought this because we are always cooking with garlic and onion. All I do is put a little hand soap on and rub this bar (like I’m washing my hands) and BOOM the smell is totally gone. Yes you can just wash your hands but that lingering smell is still there. This bar works great.

I have no clue how this bar works, all I can say is that it does.I was expecting it to be a stocking filler that never really got used but it is a permanent fixture by our kitchen sink.Onions, fish, garlic...all the smells gone instantly. And we cook Italian all the time, so everything starts with garlic.Its amazing
